While you are correct, let's put this into context. You are complaining about gun laws...but not interested in solutions to meaningfully address gun deaths.

Incorrect, also. If less people with mental health/violence issues are able to legally acquire guns, well, there go some of the deaths.

What I find interesting is all his solutions cost maximum dollars for the least impact.

1% of people are schizophrenics. That's some lives...but don't tell me that you're fixing gun deaths with that and walk away.

Bipolar (10% of the population), PTSD (20% of the population), or depression (many have some degree of depression)...we're north of 50% of the American poplulation. What about people who are just generally fearful? What about people who have major issues with their ego? What about those that exhibit large amounts of rage? They are all a greater risk.

That can't work. There would be too many false prognoses and workarounds. And you just can't find the guy who will get POd for good reason and using terrible judgement, will kill someone for it. With this continual approach, you sabotage other proven workable solutions to the gun death problem.

He has a point. Schumer, HRC, even Obama talked about the need for physical border security. That is, until "Orange Man" campaigned on it. After all, Orange Man Bad. :rolleyes:

If the government is shut down, congress and the president should also not be allowed to function. They've got to have skin in the game.

Been talking about how business spend money since the tax law was signed into law - they don't invest in the business if they get money...they invest if there's a significant ROI regardless of whether they have profit or not.

So...its not a big shock when stock buy backs were at a record $1 trillion. And while that should have propelled stock valuations...they've gone backwards. That's because the companies don't offer any better prospects than they did a year ago...but based on debt generated by the tax bill and tariffs, the economy is on much dicier ground.
