And you're here telling everyone else the used car isn't as junky as they think it is, that it's really no different than any other car out there, and you don't really have to worry about it until someone's killed because of it.

White House chief of staff John Kelly's full statement, disagreeing with Mr. Woodward's book:

"The idea I ever called the President an idiot is not true. As I stated back in May and still firmly stand behind: "I spend more time with the President than anyone else, and we have an incredibly candid and strong relationship. He always knows where I stand, and he and I both know this story is total BS. I'm committed to the President, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration's many successes."

But the rest of us who did give a ****, who didn't buy the used car, have to sit here and listen to Sicatoka tell us it's not really a used car, it's the exact same as that new Lincoln that just rolled off the line, and by pointing out how it's a junky used car, you're just ignoring how it's just like every other car out there.

Or to make the analogy clearer, I should say, you say you didn't buy the used car yourself, but know other people who have been ripped off by the used car salesperson, but still can't bring yourself to say anything bad about the guy, and stick up for him when anybody else says bad things about him.

umm, no. The things that you've offered mealy-mouthed, tepid, condemnations for, are things that had you calling for other people' heads.

And you've given him credit for things that other people did better, but which you only complained about with them.

Mine? His phone episode. Not using a secured device and OS, and not rotating it out to security standards and protocols. That's just wrong. And he shouldn't say another word about IT security about anyone after that fiasco.
