No, I've criticized Trump when he flat out earned it: Phones. Nepotism. These aren't new gripes for me.

Low end of the totem pole gripes and this continues to validate what they saying you're doing which is basically playing games.

"I really didn't like the color of tie he chose for his last interview"

Dayuuum!!

I actually called for a member of the House to draft the articles: Trump was ignoring national security with his unsecured phone behaviors.

But there's no sense in trying to discuss anything.

There's no common ground on some issues.
There's no loyal opposition with differing views on others.

What I'm learning here is there's just 100% with us, ... or enemies.

And that will doom the Republic.

At the risk of breaking the rules of this game (criticism from a lib who is supposed to identify something Trump has done right), I'll name one I feel ranks up there among many.

Trump's ongoing effort to delegitimize the press. I know his supporters would say people had already lost confidence in the press, but he has used it as cover for his own continuing and utter disregard for the truth, and when that kind of effort comes from the most powerful individual in government, you have the makings of very serous problems. Those many other problems will only get worse if they are allowed to grow in the dark. And creating dark cover is exactly what he is up to.

I'll take my 2 in the box now. And no, Sic, it's not a game misconduct.

Well yeah, when they're imposing fascism on us that's a pretty reasonable attitude to have.

No, they're not. But as I said, your criticism is tepid and half-hearted compared to your criticisms of others for similar concerns.

As for what he's done right? he hasn't nuked NK yet.

Good god...Trump is going to have a coronary!

Think of how hard Woodward and Bernstein had to work to take down Nixon...Trump is handing it to them on a silver platter.

How ironic would it be if Woodward takes down two presidencies? The parallels between Trump and Nixon are kind of incredible. I still like the one I found back when Kelly took his job. Kelly was the first General to accept a CoS position since Alexander Haig under Nixon. Twenty-four CsoS between Haig and Kelly.

I'm pretty sure Chuck Todd's not in jail for this so their imposition must be delayed.

Oh, so he gets credit that he's not gone that far yet?

I guess Hitler gets props for not gassing Jews back in '35. So wonderful of him to have had the restraint to hold off on doing that for another 7 years. Remarkable discipline as a leader. Focused on MaGGA.

It isnt what we know it is all the confirmations from people around him. It is one thing for me to say "Trump is an unhinged racist moron" but if John Kelly and Gary Cohn say it, there is no confirmation bias there.

Took the words out of my mouth. It's also kind of a bomb shell to get such detailed context surrounding these anecdotes. It's not "John Kelly called him a moron." It's "Such and such meeting took place. It was a about Topic XYZ. Person A said something. The president said something monstrously stupid. Person A and B tried to reason with him by saying this. Eventually they left, called him a moron, stole papers off his desk multiple times, and are basically the only things standing between us and a failed country."

The level of detail and context is astounding. Especially coming from a guy like Woodward. I just wish he would have published it in a newspaper or some other form of media. Or maybe it's better that he didn't. Too much of an easy "The fake press" crap.
