Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

lol

Chief of staff John Kelly describes Trump as an "idiot" and "unhinged," Woodward reports. Defense Secretary James Mattis describes Trump as having the understanding of "a fifth or sixth grader." And Trump's former personal lawyer John Dowd describes the President as "a ****ing liar," telling Trump he would end up in an "orange jump suit" if he testified to special counsel Robert Mueller.

"He's an idiot. It's pointless to try to convince him of anything. He's gone off the rails. We're in crazytown," Kelly is quoted as saying at a staff meeting in his office. "I don't even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I've ever had."

The book opens with a dramatic scene. Former chief economic adviser Gary Cohn saw a draft letter he considered dangerous to national security on the Oval Office desk.
The letter would have withdrawn the US from a critical trade agreement with South Korea. Trump's aides feared the fallout could jeopardize a top-secret national security program: the ability to detect a North Korean missile launch within just seven seconds.
Woodward reports Cohn was "appalled" that Trump might sign the letter. "I stole it off his desk," Cohn told an associate. "I wouldn't let him see it. He's never going to see that document. Got to protect the country."

Then link the executive order. You haven't proved a gosh darn thing.

And anyway, numbnuts, it's "executive privilege", not "executive order".

There's a difference, you know.

So glad we avoided the ***** that should be locked up. We dodged a bullet there.

You don't know how lucky you are.

Müller, lol. Flag going with German spelling in a lame attempt to imply the guy is a Nazi or something. Nevermind that's not even how he pronounces it.

This book has had so many bombshells you might as well call it shock and awe

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

Holy ****, they buried the lede here:

“Then, in an even more remarkable move, Dowd and Trump's current personal attorney Jay Sekulow went to Mueller's office and re-enacted the mock interview. Their goal: to argue that Trump couldn't possibly testify because he was incapable of telling the truth.
"He just made something up. That's his nature," Dowd said to Mueller.”

Last I saw on Twitter last night, they dis-invited him. Which just gives him even more fuel for his platform. A LOT of celebrities re-Tweeted the New Yorker simply saying "I'm out," causing a huge backlash to the New Yorker.

Yeah I saw it from John Mulaney in my feed. Such a stupid move by the New Yorker.

The Press hasnt learned, that is why they all still have people like KellyAnne and Giuliani on their shows. CNN, MSNBC, NYTimes...they can pretend to be outraged til the cows come home they are part of the problem.

Some of the shows have wised up but not all of them.

Good god...Trump is going to have a coronary!

Think of how hard Woodward and Bernstein had to work to take down Nixon...Trump is handing it to them on a silver platter.

They have been saying stuff like this for like a month. Faux has been putting forth this type of argument for a while.

The Gary Cohn tidbit was hilarious as heck!

So...I mean...he probably shouldnt be saying this stuff right?

Does he have a problem with the substance of these investigations, or the fact they are against Republicans?

Obstruction of Justice has jumped the shark at this point. The more he does this the more he normalizes it.
