Another great day in Trumps AmeriKKKa:

Because Perot ran both times. A little harder to get 50% in a three way race than an effectively two person race.

But you knew that already.

reagan was over 50 in 80.

and weren't perot voters 41 voters? or were those votes casts for ross the boss instead of bubba? :)

Speaking of 42, here's a Boston Globe piece speculating that the country would be better off if Clinton lost in '92.

You guys have to start copy pasting articles here.... c’mon!!!

Mookie been saying forever on the back of Harris wofford the time for universal hc was then. They (bubba and hilly) f’ed it up bigly. There is a special place in hell for them not following through 25yrs a go on this.

I'm still waiting to hear Joe's take on the potential forced miscarriages at the detainment facilities.

I'm still waiting to hear why killing babies that way is a bad thing, while killing babies as a form of birth control through the actually racist Planned Parenthood is OK.

Maybe we can use an analogy you're more likely to understand. You see, the difference there is kind of like the difference between a terminal cancer patient choosing to end their own life, versus that choice being made by the Obamacare Death Panel.

I'm still waiting to hear how you got so frickin' stupid. Deprived of oxygen? Traumatic head injury?

So trump pardoned those deadbeat Oregon ranchers who stole from the federal government.

Not totally excusing it, but an operation of this magnitude, errors will occur. Look at how disorganized the operation is to begin with...

So trump pardoned those deadbeat Oregon ranchers who stole from the federal government.

To be fair, that's not what they were charged with, and the 5-year sentence for arson seemed a bit excessive all things considered.

Of course this was nothing but pandering anyway.

Re: POTUS 45.38: Truth! Justice! And the American Way!!

Why do you guys engage the moron?

About that. I have had flaggy on ignore for a long time but still respond to him once in a while, partly out of boredom and partly because his logic-deaf idiocy is characteristic of a group of Trump supporters. But in a bigger sense, let's be honest.

How many posters participate regularly in this thread? Fewer than twenty? Have any of us been persuaded to change our minds on anything of substance? From an advocacy standpoint, what we post here is utterly pointless. We could reach more minds by standing up and declaring our thoughts at a busy Starbucks. Participating in two hours of door-knocking or phone calling for your candidate or party would budge the needle more than hundreds of exchanges in this effectively closed group. We are doing nothing more than entertaining ourselves.

So engaging a poster like flaggy (who isn't rude or angry, btw) is not really any different that engaging someone whose position on an issue has never changed and never will. Despite his stimulating and intelligent posts, I suspect this is what Kep might have been feeling when he decided to disengage last week.

Dont get me wrong: I like this place--what I read here. But it is basically just entertainment.
