Yeah cause Gorby was weak and wasnt going to keep up the charade that Russia was a world power. Plus Gorby allowed the GOP to pretend Reagan destroyed Communism :rolleyes:

President Donald Trump claimed Thursday that millions of people were voting illegally in California, returning to an allegation he has made since he was a candidate but has failed to substantiate with evidence.

Trump made the comments during free-wheeling remarks in West Virginia at an event that was supposed to be about tax reform. Trump was speaking about immigration when he pivoted to claim there was widespread voter fraud in California.

“In many places, like California, the same person votes many times, you probably heard about that,” he said. “They always like to say: ‘Oh that’s a conspiracy theory.’ Not a conspiracy theory folks. Millions and millions of people. And it’s very hard because the state guards their records. They don’t want to see it.”

It's what Kep and I were talking about yesterday. The Republicans/GOP/Conservatives are out to destroy Government and the Press. The two things that protect the people from the Plutocrats and their destructive "me me me" mentality.

And they're succeeding.

Russia has been "democratic" for a brief stretch in 1917 and for a brief time in the 90s. The rest of the time Russia has been autocratic. And, apparently, the young Russians don't mind.

Pretty much. Six months in 1917 before the Bolshies destroyed it and then about three years in the early 90's before the Crony Capitalists destroyed it.
