Dump's followers can't read. He's the best thing to happen to actual news journalism since movable type.

For most people news will continue to be entertainment (lead with a fire, close with puppies), but this little scrape with a police state is teaching literates the value of independent, serious news. It's a public health function. You clean the water to avoid cholera, not to make money. You have newspapers to avoid fascism, not to make money.

Hillary would have been a target for faux news, since they need to make people mad to get them to watch. Otherwise, I didn't see any issues like that we were predicting (that so far have come true) for dump.

Trump talking to his advisors about rejoining the pacific trade pact he dumped last year - WSJ. He should have come to this message board...he would have learned it was a mistake then.

Yeah, and Clinton was against this or later was against it because of Bernie. Bernie was wrong on this one from the get go.

It's ironic because Trump's whole schtick was sticking up for the little guy (small town coal miners and manual labor types who had their jobs exported) and it was obviously a total fraud. Flip flopping and being for TPP now is another "suckers!" moment for the ones that voted for him.

The GOP also claims to stick up for the "little guy" against the "elites."

It's all the same con. In this, at least, Dump is a model Republican.

Of course, I agree. But I think that's one (of many) thing that might depress turnout on his side a bit and something the dems can use to their advantage.

also, the times when he was traveling, and couldn't manage to get it put on the taxpayer dime, he flew coach. when it was on the taxpayers, first class all the way.

It's called a re-negotiation. He got us out of the one-sided anti-American deal on day 1. We're only getting back in if we actually get something out of it. Big difference.

It's difficult to tell sometimes with our village idiot. It seems nobody should be that easy to con, but I'm sure there are a lot like him. One thing's for sure: when he hits 70, he's a case of elder abuse waiting to happen. He will probably have given all his money to Alex Jones by then, though, so they'll leave him be.
