Two thoughts:

1. At what point doesn’t the military call up congressional leadership and say this man is dangerous and congress should act?
2. I see that Lindsay Graham and others have introduced a bill to protect Mueller. This leads me to two conclusions:
a. They know mueller’s firing is imminent.
b. They don’t actually want to pass this bill. They just want to be able to say they were trying to protect him but congress moves too slow or some such nonsense.

They pushed hard to make it illegal for government money to support Catholic schools. They also successfully fought to make Portland's city council seats all at-large so the Irish and Jewish neighborhoods wouldn't have as much influence on the city council. The NAACP tried to unite the Irish, Jews, and African Americans against the referendum, but it still passed. They had some success electing people to office for a few years, and then after the mid 20s their influence started to wane, and the old guard Republicans were able to defeat most of them in primaries. By the 30s they were pretty much done.

He's done nothing, especially if you don't count the current number of guilty pleas (5 so far), the current sentence to put a guy in prison (1), two charged with crimes, 16 indictments, and the number of people who are actively co-operating,

Not just defend, but somehow think that these guys are "draining the swam". These guys ARE the swamp. When you put your paddle through the bottom of the swamp, this is the smell that bubbles up from the rotting stuff.

They are excused that 'everyone does it', which is complete crap. Nobody has done it like this- where laws are very much being broken in a pretty obvious way.
