First, the vast, vast majority of protests since inauguration have been peaceful and legal. Almost everyone on the left denounced the Berkley protests.

Second, don't forget that Republicans pulled that same stunt in committee by boycotting one of Obama's nominees. They also blocked his SCOTUS nominee for an entire year.

Like I said, though perhaps the specific words need written rather than inferred of "both sides have been childish," Republicans are far from clean. They made it a mission to disrupt the nation's work simply because they were pouting for eight years. It was embarrassing for this nation.

I don't see the Democrats having any choice on staying out of the confirmation hearings. Their logical follow up questions and requests for information that was provided by every other cabinet nominee in history was denied by the majority.

You're playing the false equivalency game. This is the media's fault and the Electorate's fault for not having enough bandwidth for the truth.

And you're playing the usual False Equivalency canard that you do because you don't like that your side has the capacity to act just as badly as your opponents, and require a diaper change themselves from time to time.

Protests are fine, so long as they're protesting peacefully and legally. Have the protests been meeting these two criteria? Most have, yes, but not all have. Also, playing the game of refusing to enter the Capitol Building for the confirmation hearings is extremely childish, as much so as McConnell declaring that his job was to make Pres. Obama a one-term president, and saying with a priggish smirk on his face all the while.

Even though I am clearly the problem I never lied to pollsters. In fact I took numerous polls over the phone and always told the truth. It has become pretty obvious the last few months that polls are pretty meaningless cause the people taking them are lying. Otherwise, how did Trump ever win?

Assuming this true...what is your point? That because SOME negative polls are fake, all negative polls are fake? That is exactly the type of BS dangerous over-generalizations we need to be raging against right now. Just because SOME polls are false, does not mean ALL polls are false. Just like the fact that SOME Muslims/Christians/Hindus/Atheists/FSMs are terrorists does not mean that ALL Muslims/Christians/Hindus/Atheists/FSMs are terrorists. Just like the fact that SOME of Donald's supporters are racists does not mean that ALL of Trump's supporters are racists.

The polls were only off by a historically average amount. The problem was less with the polls and more with the interpretation of them, and specifically people reading certainty in where they shouldn't have.
