FLAGGY!!! John Kelly admitted 9/11 was an inside job.

Asked why Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from, was not on the list, he said they have "very very good police forces and intelligence forces, so we know when someone comes here from Saudi Arabia who they are and what they've been up to."

Or I suppose the more likely option is he just thinks the 9/11 hijackers were from Iraq.

I'm all ears. I'm not happy about anything I posted about this afternoon, but we're fooling ourselves if we think that by setting standards and testing we're making much difference for kids.

You can still run a WHOIS lookup on the domain, and it will come up. I'm not posting any of the details here though, because I'm not that dumb, and I also don't believe in doxxing no matter how much you hate someone.

EDIT: The only thing I'll say is that if that's all the home $700+k will get you in DC, then you're getting jobbed. Looks like a nice 'hood though.

EDIT2: WHOIS says that domain was registered in '09, and Zillow says the street address last sold in 2010. So if you're looking to stalk the guy, sorry ladies. :p

So we should just accept the way it is, and let the poor people suffer. Nothing we can do about it. No point in even trying.

Some of you imply that Liberals are head in the sky, or imply that we are arrogant.

What that does it say that you, rather obviously, think you are so much better than people who are poor. There's no hiding in that- we should just turn our backs on the people who are asking dearly for help. So dearly that they turned their backs on the only party who has showed any interest in them to try don. So much for that.

Save money, don't fund the wasteful education of the poor.

How the heck can you look at yourselves in the mirror?

No, you are not. You have already decided that the poor don't deserve to have any effort put into them.

You are fooling trying to convince us you care. Total BS as far as I can see.

Instead of being dismissive, come up with some of your own ideas for the department of education.

I was literally saying what we are doing now isn't working and should try something else. That is the opposite of accepting the way things are now. I absolutely want things to be better for those who aren't as fortunate as I was.

More money to the parents, starting at birth. Children below the poverty line literally have smaller brains due to differences in nutrition.
Parental education programs. Children below the poverty line have had 30 million less words read to them by the time they start kindergarten. Being read to is critical to early development.
Expand early head start programs.
Free wi-fi
Pay people enough to only have to work one job. Pay women as much as men. Pay minorities as much as whites.
Don't lock up parents for smoking a little weed, impacting their and their childrens lives forever
