SJHovey also believes that daylight savings time is a benefit to farmers and to ensure schools kids have daylight waiting for the bus.
For what it's worth, I think Daylight Savings Time is stupid. I think aerosol cheese is stupid, too. But what either of those have to do with the price of tea in China, or any other topic discussed in this thread, escapes me.

Your post had a hint of romanticism in it's whimsical-ness. I just made reference to other oft-misunderstood reasoning.

Although, it's great to read that we're on the same page regarding those two items!

Re: POTUS 45:26 - One million tweets DC!

Are there still two sides, Donnie?

"ALL THE BEST PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Full statement is a hoot!

"Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.

Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.

Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books."

This is exactly the attitude that Trump was able to capitalize on. I'm better than you because I (or my forefathers) managed to escape. Those of you with no ability? Too bad. You'll be left behind.

And you wonder why people were willing to vote for Trump, and not your candidate? Go ahead, keep telling yourself they were all racists.

How about "screw them, let them take it in the shorts when Trump takes away all their benefits?"

See, there's a welcome change coming to liberalism, which is to stop trying to get people to save themselves! If you want to lose your Medicare to pay for tax cuts for billionaires, tough fukin ****. Its not the job of Dems to save you, so take it in the shorts until you either smarten up or die off. Most people still voting GOP today are bigots longing for a mythical time that never really existed but where you could use racial slurs freely and scapegoat minorities openly for all of life's problems. As another posters pointed out, that's exactly what Trump is offering these people. At the end of the day, they're still going to be poor and mired in dying cities and towns, but hey, at least they can say the N word again!

My God, this is wonderful. It's like watching the Iran-Iraq War.

Correct. The ~33-38% are all going to sink the boat unless we cut the line and let them drown. So, let them drown.

The Dems fought bravely as the party of All the Poor from 1932 through 2016. Going forward, we will be the party of the Unjustly Poor.

Ish.

I’ll give you velveeta. Sometimes you need terrible cheese to make killer queso. But easy cheese is some nasty ****.

Easy Cheese is the Jeopardy answer for the question, "What if Donald Trump was a food product?"

Re: POTUS 45:26 - One million tweets DC!

For real.

I guess it can't hurt. Mueller wants to squeeze Manafort not chuck him away in a cell, so it's a pretty safe game of chicken (not to mention Dump can always pardon him). If he can force it up to SCOTUS then the GOP majority will decide it as a political trial like Bush v Gore. If it all falls apart he's no worse off.
