President Kenyatta said he disagreed with the court ruling but that he would respect the decision.

He called on Kenyans to do the same and remain calm.

Regardless of any "irregularities", it's a sad day indeed when the President of Kenya has a calmer and more measured response to an electoral setback than the current POTUS would.

I imagine Texas is like a lot of other Republican (and even Dem) states where there's a huge divergence in what people in the cities want vs people in the suburban/rural areas.

August employment numbers failed to me expectations and the unemployment rate ticked upward. Who will "Complain, blame, but never explain" Trump attack on Twitter?

CNN had some talking head on gushing over how presidential he sounded after the speech to congress very early on (did he call it a State Of The Union speech?) where he praised the military guy who died. All the while one of his parents was not so sure of what the military was saying. It was pathetic on the part of CNN and especially that talking head, who was a democratic consultant or operative of some sort. I flush things daily that are far more presidential than trump will ever be.

Every time he does something that isnt embarrassing they run that story...it is like clockwork. I almost feel they are trolling because it is just that obvious.

Didn't the rate go up because participation went up? He's getting people off their couches and back to work. It's something we should give him credit for.

trump hasn't done a single fvcking thing to improve the economy or hiring prospects. Please tell me you are at least smart enough to know what the green and red lights mean at an intersection, because if you are dumb enough to think trump is responsible for "getting people off their couches and back to work" I doubt you are smart enough to understand a traffic signal. God help us if you are the "average" voter.

Yup. There is an unquestionable benefit to having the best and brightest from other countries, but I'm not sure how many of those are in this group. A problem for the US is it doesn't have the same allure to foreigners it did say 20 years ago.
