As I've said previously, I'm in favor of single payer and was being a bit lazy when I threw that out.

To go back to my original point today, our problems are much deeper than Trump being president. I honestly don't even know how we would ever get the changes we need with the current political setup. It's going to take reforms we haven't seen since the early 1790's to get us back on the right path.

Or just revert taxes to the way they were 40 years ago. That would help.

Just remember, there are still more stringent requirements placed on slot machines than there are on voting machines.


Imagine a slot machine with a cellular modem just in case it needed software updates.

When he says "S.C.", does he mean Supreme Court? Can someone explain to him filling a seat is not an accomplishment, it's a basic, almost procedural, part of your job. I took the trash out last night, but I'm not expecting a ****ing parade for it.

If the border is secure, as tRump tweeted, then why spend a bazillion dollars on a fence--especially since he's stated that Americans will be injured by those heavy bags of drugs thrown over the fence. :rolleyes:

A second "accomplishments" Tweet could have noted his distinction of necessitating apologies to his speeches to the Boy Scouts AND police officers in the same week, along with a ton of pushback from parents and police departments nationwide. No president has ever done that before.

And in other news: there is a "spiritual awakening" taking place in the White House.


Now, I'm all for these people finding Jesus. I'm fine with them holding a Bible study at work. But this story just irks me in ways I can't quite explain.

They all remind me of the someone who goes to Church every Sunday just to say they regularly attend, and yet their actions the rest of the week are 100% opposite their "beliefs."

And if the economy's doing so amazing, seems kind of dangerous to completely uproot the health care system without a poorly formulated plan.

Also, are we allowed to use U3 again? I thought for the last, oh, 8 years U6 was the true unemployment?

I have a feeling this was 100% John Kelley's doing. He's going to run the White House like he would a Marine unit. Scaramucci's behavior isn't going to be tolerated in Kelley's White House. Wouldn't be shocked to see more people get fired this week.
