Let me guess, you fall in the camp that thinks Jr. never met with Russian's offering to provide damaging information?

I get that, Sic, but party and policy associations aside, have you ever seen a Pres act this unglued? I mean, this child-like, weird shyt is coming from him directly, not unnamed sources, and it's coming almost daily. I don't go back far enough to remember anything like this. Is it a con? I thought so during the campaign, but it's real, I think.

Oh it's real, in a way. If he can remain center spotlight (and somehow make money off of it) it's real. Does he really BELIEVE the crap that comes out of his mouth? Doubt it, but that doesn't matter. If it gets him what he wants, he's gonna say it. He made a career out of it.

Listen to Jordan Peterson's interviews with Sam Harris and Joe Rogan (we might need a podcast thread to link the good stuff in). That's some really creepy stuff the progressive neo-Marxist liberals have accomplished in Toronto in shutting down free speech and points to a frighteningly plausible near future here if identity politics have their way. Canada has it worse than we do right now if you peek under the hood.

Oh, I think he believes more of it than you or I want to admit. The coal and factory jobs stuff, he knows that was a lie for votes - a majority of the country can see that now. However, you can tell that it just eats away at him that he lost the popular vote, thereby calling the legitimacy of his win into question in the eyes of almost half the country. That's why you see his "integrity" commission hard at work on fabricating a phony report that there were over 3,000,000 illegal votes, just to soothe his ego. He definitely believes that nonsense. There's also no question he's a racist, going all the way back to the 70s when he was busted for illegally discriminating against blacks in his rentals. Or the birther nonsense about Obama that he pushed for years. Or his campaign-opening statement that implied at least half of the Latino/Hispanic population (he just calls them all "Mexicans" because they look the same to him) in this country are criminals. He also definitely believes Russia didn't do anything to interfere in the election, because of his business interests there and his desire to work with them. Which is why he doesn't want anyone to see his tax returns, especially Mueller.

No he just thinks Hillary is evil because she MIGHT have mishandled stuff. Things the Trumpy's actually do isnt as bad as what liberals MAY have done.

Hillary mishandled stuff. And Trump (and co) went up a level. Well, ok, about 5 levels. Or more. Probably more. Let's just say more.

Listening to the rhetoric that former speaker newt spewed on NPR this morning, it really makes me think there is a lot of substance behind the investigation.

A LOT.

He spent most of his time accusing the Justice Dept for being massively liberal, and then even more liberal than that. It's an interesting thing to listen to.

What's really scary about it- there's data out there that tracks donations from Justice people to campaigns. I thought that was free speech and not supposed to be tracked, for one thing.

I suspect that he found 20 people out of the entire department that gave money, and then extrapolated that data to the entire department.

So it's nice to see Rachel start taking a lead over faux.

Canada doesn't have the first amendment. We do. And it's one thing both sides of SCOTUS guard jealously.*

* Except for Alito. He clearly wants to have his cake and eat it, too, with a watered down version. Was never as happy with Scalia as I was when he "stole" the majority opinion in the violent video games case from Alito and got 5 votes for a full smack down of that California law rather than Alito's tempered one.

Last I knew, heckling was free speech. What a bunch of sensitive snowflakes.

That's their latest gambit to end this Russian investigation. Nothing happened, it's just a liberal conspiracy led by Hillary and Robert Mueller cause they're mad they lost the election. They're digging for dirt on Mueller and his team, looking for any connections to Democrat and liberal partisan interests, and will float whatever they find out there in the media, so their true believers soak it in, and start believing this as well. So when they fire Sessions, and then Mueller, ending the investigation, all of the Trumpites will scream, "Good" and little Donnie skates.

Trumpy has made it quite clear that no investigation into the Russian connections will be allowed to happen.

What's so frustrating about little newt's comments is that the original probe is looking into Russian interference. The ideas that dumps morons were involved came along well after that.

And what little newt doesn't seem to get- if someone can interrupt an election in your favor, it can just as easily be manipulated in the opposite direction. Heck, if I were russia, I'd put a strategy that constantly is switching the main parties in congress, especially getting in new people so that they have no experience working the system. That way, it will keep the US totally off balance all the time.

While it *might* be true that dumps had no involvement (I doubt that less and less every hour), the *idea* that russia might have done something should be raising alarm bells for everyone, especially the anti-globalists and the anti-new world order people. This is an outside country who is trying to influence our country. How can that be so easily dismissed??? That HAS to be stopped and prevented at all costs.

Still- the rhetoric is just like the boy who teased the little girl because he had such a big crush on her. It sure seems as if the investigation hit a nerve pretty sharply. And the idea that it's such a massive distraction is foolish- at least if you are talking about a distraction to allow stuff to get done under the table. No, this is just distracting us from the issue that r's have nothing. Nothing at all. Just a bunch of words.

No transgender individuals allowed in the military anymore due to the "tremendous medical costs", because that is what makes the military budget bloated.
