He was a moron but people are letting him off the hook far too easily solely because of who we have now. The guy is basically a war criminal.

Might as well put all of PNAC behind bars. They were all criminally culpable for what Cheney managed to do.

And isn't ironic how much Cheney lied? But, it didn't matter cause the Halliburton stock price skyrocketed. And I'm sure the old man would just shrug right now if he learned that Iraq and Iran are military partners now. No big deal, right? Cause after all, we were going to be welcomed as LIBERATORS after the war was over.

I hope history treats Cheney and his daughter who is in Congress right now with the disdain they deserve.

No he isnt and no we arent. That type of hyperbole was ridiculous then and it is even dumber now. If you paint him in such a light we can back to almost every presidency and find something similar.

If you want to go after the guys like Cheney and the like fine, but Dubya wasnt smart enough to plan out stuff like that nor did he have the balls.

While you're all kvetching about whether or not Bush and Cheney should've gone before The Hague court, I think I'll be worried about the ignoramus currently in office.

Not every president lied about weapons of mass destruction to enter an illegal war. You can go back as recently as Obama to find a counterpoint to your silly argument. (and yes drones I know but it's not even remotely close to what Bush did)

I agree with him. I don't understand why everyone has excused W from all this but it probably has something to do with current attention span of people and ISIS and other groups continuing to justify the idiocy of the United States.

Both can be done, it's not that hard. I just find the whole narrative/rewriting of history re GWB in the Trump era to be ridiculous. Yes, he actually was really awful and the whole appeal to ignorance bit is nauseating. He wasn't the brightest but the idea that he had no clue what he was doing is just preposterous.

Dick's showing his age. That generation of kids was us. The kids who are following us know politics is a death sport and are waging it accordingly. We are the weak link.
