Oh my. There's the angle I hadn't pondered.

The Rs only had "corp-y" candidates (Jeb!, Carly) that had any shot of winning (sorry Ted Cruz). That's not going to work and they knew it because corporate types are so e-e-e-e-vil. So, why not pull in the "outsider" to win*. But have a way to manipulate him. An RNC back door. Reince.

Holy crap, Kep. Between you and me we're weaving a completely outlandish narrative ... that just might not be that far off!


*Don't claim Trump is corporate. He's never worked for anyone but himself.

The curtain is coming down on the right's comedy act, it's just happening slowly.

Short of an actual coup and the end of the right to vote, they simply do not have the numbers to maintain their Fantasy League government much longer.

At most, 25% of the country shares the GOP's theo-cultural fundamentalism. At most, 2% of the country benefits from GOP economic and political policies, while everyone else is injured. Even with their propaganda networks spewing lies 24/7 their own base will eventually recognize how savagely they have been played, and long before that we will have taken the country back by inexorable democratic means.

The violence, if and when it comes, will probably be right on right, as the white working class realizes what the plutes and the GOP elites have done to their children.

If that was true they wouldnt be running the government (all three branches) and have the Leg and Governorship of the majority of states. You can pretend it is cause Hillary and Gerrymandering but it is way more than that.

The most flagrant recent political violence was by white working class ... at a baseball practice.

Was going to say... wasn't it Antifa who burned down cities in disgust of right-wingers wanting to do something peaceful, like elect a leader or give a speech? And this DuMass thinks the right is going to be violent? He has to be either trolling or brainwashed, because the evidence is clear.

Funny thing is, #45 is trying to stop wars from happening. And the Nobel Peace Prize winner didn't have a single day of peacetime during his tenure.

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove. And given Trump's legal history...you better be DAM sure you have concrete evidence, no question about it, even a Kardashian would say, "Duh, guilty." IMO, that's the issue. Even if there is the tiniest loophole, Trump's lawyers would find it.

Not really. Trumpy's entire game when faced with legal action is to bully and bluff his way through, until the other party backs down. If they don't, Trumpy quietly settles, despite the fact that he "never settles".

I have a strong feeling this method, while effective in the real estate world, doesn't hold much sway in the political arena.
