POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

FACT: Michigan has 9 titles.
ALTERNATIVE FACT: North Dakota has 8 titles and two of those are since Michigan's last.

North Dakota is a better hockey program based on my alternative fact. (Maize and alfa to detonate in ... three, two, ... )
Am I right or wrong?

I used facts to re-enforce the viewpoint of my biases. We all do it. Some admit it.

Real "alternative fact": Dartmouth has more titles than both Michigan and North Dakota combined. I've seen reports that prove it.

It's like flaggy has a second account that tries to act as a super moderate.

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

This is hitting close to home now, I got the email that if any of our middle eastern grad students visit home they won't be allowed to return... it's depressingly real, I work with some of these people.
Once again I'll recommend Pod Save America for a clear eyed look at the insanity from a couple of extreme leftists. I want to get as far left as I can now until the national nightmare ends.

Recommendation from the large healthcare system I work for: "At this time, we recommend that nationals of those countries currently in the US on valid visas and authorized to remain in the US not depart the US and travel internationally or risk not being readmitted. "

Most people do not know how much healthcare in this country depends on IMG's. For the most part, they are among the best and brightest and without them, most tertiary care centers would not function.

you seem like a smart guy. how on earth did you fall for that **** not once, but twice?

2000 was a product of having lived in Nebraska for the majority of my life and not knowing better. Can't really tell you why in 2004, don't really remember. And I voted for McCain in the 2000 primary, FWIW.

I can tell you when I switched, though. It was when McCain elevated Caribou Barbie to the national stage.

Want to know the biggest joke of DJT's immigration EO?

Seven Muslim countries*.
Yet, the home country of the vast majority of the 9/11 hijackers is not on the list.

Su-u-u-ure this is about terrorism.

*Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen.

The hijackers were from Saudi Arabia (fifteen hijackers), United Arab Emirates (two hijackers), Lebanon (one hijacker) and Egypt (one hijacker)

From what I've heard, Trump has business dealings with Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt. If you look at a map of the middle east, and color the ones where trump has business dealings it would pretty much match the map of countries excluded from the ban.

It's about making himself look good to the deplorables without impacting countries he does business with.

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

It's so wrong in so many ways. More often the people we should be monitoring are being radicalized right under our noses. Read the Atlantic story about John something, a Greek-American military brat from TEXAS who is now something like second in command of ISIS. Certainly not the refugees who are seeking safety from them.
The Republican senator who is willing to point out the Trumperor's nudity can be a hero.

None of the conservative people in here seem upset. I don't think anything the president or GOP is doing upsets them. They falsely try to point out that because they hated Obama with the fire of a thousand suns too, it's all the same.
They are the problem.
Bull. I've called out Trump at every turn where he has damaged the conservative American ideal (i.e. Almost Everything he has said and done) You should be welcoming the reinforcements instead of saying, "I was here first!"

81% of Republicans approve of his first week in office. You're in the minority of your party.

I had no idea you were actually a conservative.

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

I call myself conservative, but I've never been a republican. To me there are miles of difference. I agree with the repubs on things like abortion and resistance to federal policing of every store's bathrooms. I used to agree with them on things like free trade but they're moving right as fast as I'm moving left.

I actually voted R in the first election I was 18- then promptly became a lifelong lib after living overseas at the age of 21.
Republicans under GW angered me. Republicans under Trump sicken me.

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

What Trump did is merely a dog whistle to his supporters.
It won't stand up when tested in the courts so it's a complete waste of time and effort.

would you be so nonchalant about this if your neighbor, doctor, professor, or co-worker were suck overseas unable to return to their home, job, and family for months (and maybe longer)?

Even Dr. Seuss got it:
