POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

Can't even answer the question, and just regress to a talking point, eh?

Though Flag is a dupe we should have a simple, clean answer to his question. Here is a start: a list of almost 500 Trump lies. Its scope is the 18 months of the campaign so we will need to prepend/append Trump's lies during transition and then during his presidency. The rate is roughly that Trump lies publicly once every 10 hours he is awake. In other words, about every time he sh-ts on us, he also actually sh-ts.

I hope there will be records of everything Trump says during the next 4 years. This is a big opportunity for the mental health sciences.

Well played! :)

In News No One Will Find Shocking The Urine King is Cutting Funding to the Arts

"The Hill, whose source is an unnamed member of Drumpf’s transition team, reported that Drumpf will eliminate both the National Endowment For The Arts and the National Endowment For The Humanities, and privatise the Corporation For Public Broadcasting."

I amm sure we will hear this is to balance the budget...but that is like trying to balance your companies budget by cutting spending on paper clips. Only this move actually makes our kids dumber.

Hey, the more dumb people there are, the better it is for Trump.

you think gang bangers bother to vote?

Entrepreneurs. Disregard for well-being of others. Obsession with guns and violence.

If they do they vote Republican.

Thanks, Kep. I found that source and tried to copy and paste, but I'm too ignorant to know how.

The answer we know to expect, of course, is that all politicians lie once in a while, so Trump is no different.

Good.

The GOP must be so p-ssed. They LOVE these programs. They trot them out as examples of "waste" or "elitism" any time they want an easy target.

Trump has no idea that the GOP deliberately keeps these programs around to incense the rubes. They have been a Giving Tree for deplorable votes for decades and now Trump is going to throw them out.

100% private funding of the Arts will do two things. (1) Insulate them from dullard pressure. (2) Improve the Arts. The ugliest thing in every city is the sculptures approved by the committees of state-sponsored Arts councils.

This is publicly-funded art.

This is privately-funded art.

Funny thing is, having a number of musical friends (many of which, as you might expect, are anti-Trump), you should see how PO'd they are about this one. It's definitely time for those artistic to step up on their own, and may one of the most cutthroat industries find the fittest to survive.

any thought on what, if anything, is going to happen with these sanctuary cities? what happens with governmental resistance to governmental edicts?

The Feds are coming. You know, small government.

Nothing. If anything, a double down on the policy. Starting 20 January, states' rights are really important to the left, and federalism is really important to the right. You still need two witnesses to treason, no matter who does it. Can they prove it to be treason?

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

*snicker*
Hiring Freeze And Obamacare Repeal Could Clobber Veterans Affairs
Carrie Farmer, a health policy researcher at the Rand Corp., says 3 million vets who are enrolled in the VA usually get their health care elsewhere — from their employer, or maybe from Obamacare exchanges. If those options go away, she has no idea just how many of those 3 million veterans will move over to the VA.
The VA has already seen a surge in usage in the past year, straining what has long been an overtaxed system.

That could get worse if the agency can't fill vacancies. Trump signed a federal hiring freeze this week, and while national security is supposed to be exempt, the VA is not. White House spokesman Sean Spicer called it a "broken" system.

More people who voted for Trump could be directly negatively impacted by his actions.

But hey, they voted for him!

And no wonder why Trump wants to axe the arts, NPR isn't cozying up to him and is doing their actual job.

Re: POTUS 45.1 - You take the high road and I'll take the low road

Emanuel may have been critical of Trump the day prior, but the tweet came about an hour after Trump's daily intelligence briefing, by which I mean a segment on drunken harasser Bill O'Reilly's show.

So what happens when Trump loses in 2020, refuses to accept it, and orders the government to proceed as if he won?

joe will be deeply concerned about it, but willing to give him a shot to see if it works. But if it doesn't, he might be willing to change his mind in the future. He'll also probably post some dip**** conspiracy theory about the Clintons.

How about asking the group of people that actually did this in 2016, oh almighty deflector?
