Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

Nobody could have known that his wife often looks unhappy when his back is turned

Melania's gonna get backhanded for that one the next time she deigns to visit Washington.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

Sounds like Trump is signing the religious freedom order on Thursday. So much for Ivanka fighting to protect gay rights.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

So just broom her issues under the rug? Including the self inflicted ones?

Her activism doesn't count anymore?

She needs to pass the baton to a new spokesperson, and if they choose to pursue Russia and the FBI, then so be it. She may have valid points to still be raised in the political arena, but she should stay silent on those issues she thinks cost her the election.

An oldie but a goodie. Especially since that's close to where I grew up.

I can't decide what's my favorite argument. But I have to go with "it's a river crossing so of course many many people got shot". I'm sure you all remember in your history books where every soldier crossing a river was met with a never-ending hail of bullets. I mean, for every 10 soldiers you tried to get across the river, only 1 ever made it. It makes you wonder why they kept crossing rivers that way if they knew what was going to happen.

(And before someone like Flaggy tries to point out that there were a few battles involving fighting at a river crossing, like Fredericksburg for example, the difference is we have actual ****ing evidence of that because people wrote about it and it is documented. There is not a scant piece of ****ing evidence about this non-battle.)

MIC? What probably incredible obvious thing am I missing?

Weren't they the other long distance carrier back in the 90s? I think they had Whoopi in their commercials.

(It will be odd explaining to my kids why long distance carrier commercials used to be such a big thing.)

I agree that she needs to pass the baton on. And given this was the first time she has spoken publicly since November, she has.

Right now, you all seem to treat her like a Whack a Mole target- pop her head up, knock her down.

She has valid points, and is also smart enough to see her mistakes. Add those to the ones everyone else saw, and they stand a higher chance of being prevented next time.

Personally, I think it's good to understand what went wrong, so that the next time there's a game played, it can be an overwhelming victory. And that includes knowing the outside influences- so that they can be anticipated and better dealt with.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

We all know what went wrong, and seeing as she is downplaying the major factor (her) she doesnt know what went wrong.

She doesnt need to stay away forever, just until say after the midterms. The Democrats need to get the Clinton stink off them.

NC Congressman to his constituants: 'Can't get healthcare in my state? Move somewhere you can.'

“People can go to the state that they want to live in,” Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC) told reporters Tuesday morning when asked if people with pre-existing conditions could be charged much more under the American Health Care Act.
This is absurd. No, wait, it's beyond absurd. How in the fu** do these congressmen retain their jobs?

She has no baton to pass. The only people who still care about Hillary are New Yorker magazine writers who go down on her and the RWNM who get rich off stoking hatred of her.

She and her daughter should completely disappear from the public eye.

Simple. Abortion. Guns. Gays (Bathroom Bill). That's how. You can't reason with those people. The fact that now 2020 has started on Cable News and everyone is looking for the southern Democrat again is hilarious.

The only way to change those people is to outvote them in huge numbers. For some reason Susan Sarandon had more pull in this last election then the most qualified person of my lifetime.

Is he a House member or an NC State Rep? As crazy and stupid as the former can be, if you want to take a walk on the wild side get familiar with state legislators. That's where you get a true cross-section of the public in all its glory.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

You hafta do bad stuff for the Post to go after you if you're an "R." They're a good indicator of the Righty Bloid Mentality. Perhaps the worm is turning and Archie Bunker's patience with Trump is wearing thin.

With your conditional set on their attack jobs, should anybody really be surprised they went after Kushner? While it's not universally believed, many think of him as the Democrat in elephant's clothing, only along for the ride because of who he rides at night.
