POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Year, they're obviously trying to portray it otherwise but it looks like a last hurrah for the Hillary diehards. When you look at how many votes she received and how many people marched the number isn't as impressive.
The fact that you think this march is a "last hurrah for Hillary supporters" shows a good amount of ignorance.

I'd also add I think its very tacky they excluded a lot of women because of their beliefs.

If people feel excluded because a group is marching in support of women's rights, gay rights, civil rights, immigrant rights and worker's rights, I can't say I have much sympathy for them.

There's a difference between that and specifically being told "No, we don't want you here" because of a belief or two that don't hold water compared to the overall (insert group's) rights.

It perfectly sums up where the left is right now. There is no latitude at all for disagreement on any issue.

When that group is advocating to takeaway those rights people are marching for? Yeah.

Brent, you're smarter than this.

Yes, us *******s on the left struggling for freedom while you want to restrict it. You're right, we should totally be down with partial freedom.

They disagree on one issue. But not the overall cause, which is sexism, equal pay, equal status, etc etc.

If WOMEN believe in not having abortions/believe in pro-life, so be it. It's their body, right? Which is only a PART of what this march is about?

Abortion was one sentence in their 19 principles. The paragraph surrounding that statement also included increased education regarding STD's and contraceptives. There were 18 other principles to march on such as indigenous rights, rights to fight for equal pay, and others.

If someone refuses to march because of 5% of the platform it sounds like they're the ones with no latitude for disagreement.

Read the link to the article I posted. They were told not to show up. It was the organizers choice not theirs.

Yeah but it's a major issue that would've caused a lot of tension if they'd had a place. They're raising a stink because they got excluded for a valid reason.

All or nothing.

This goes for everyone: this is part of the problem. There is no compromise anymore. No gray areas. It's either/or. Makes me sick.

When is the last time a pro-choice activist killed someone specifically because they were pro-life? How about the other way around? Yeah, I wouldn't want them around either.

Brent nailed it. Trying to ban views you don't like will play right into trump's world.
