Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Also, Holy fu** is Franklin Graham, being interviewed on NBC, as dense as Trump's supporters. He's proud how the "sons and daughters of coal miners" came out to vote for Trump, because that's all these people know, and without those jobs, they can't live like they have for decades.

Well no SH**!! Coal mining is going the way of buggy and whip makers. Times change. Industries change.
I live in New England. Much of the manufacturing in this country started in New England. At one point the largest textile mills in the world were in New England. Most of the shoes made in the country were made in New England. Shipbuilding was a major industry up and down the coast. These industries employed huge numbers of our grandparents, great grandparents, and generations before that. And this isn’t just some long ago, 19th century, when men were men thing. Much more recently New England was a leader in manufacturing computers, cabling, electronics. And now they’re all all but gone. Yet, New England is still one of the wealthiest parts of the country. And healthiest. And safest. Why?

Primarily because New England has always valued education. That and we weren’t a bunch of whiny, uncreative fcuks who demanded, as a right, to be paid to dig rocks out of the ground, in perpetuity, whether or not anyone really wanted those rocks anymore or not. We turned those empty mills into places for tech startups, medical offices, even places for high-value manufacturing. We didn’t sit around feeling sorry for ourselves, or starting up meth labs, or looking down on education as something disdainful and unmanly, waiting for an orange headed tub of goo to come to our rescue – which he won’t.

And none of this even touches on the fact that New England didn’t lose its industry to Asia. We lost it to the South, of our own country. I didn’t hear any wailing and b’ching and moaning then. That was ok, with people in the same place who are now telling us how unfair it is that they’re losing their industry to some other place. The same economics that brought them those industries are now driving them away, but it’s only now that economics are a problem.

A bunch of whiny, weak-minded, losers. You made your beds – out of laziness, ignorance, and delusion – and now we all have to sleep in because you have no self-reliance, no self-responsibility – two things you talk oh so much about but have none of when it’s time to actually put up or shut up, then you want, no expect, the world to change just for you, to humor you, just like little children.

I missed the Anointment. Did Trump take a leak on the Jefferson Bible or grab Kagan by the *****, and did the Trumppallos ride their Harleys up the White House staircase?

Meanwhile, Obama had Bruce Springsteen play a private, two-hour acoustic concert for his staff as a thank you last week. Baller move.

Christie must have been sobbing himself to sleep into his tiny pillow.

Why Trumppallos and not Trumpettes?

Heard this the other day on a brief radio news report, but apparently Trump's EPA nominee, in his testimony, said he believes climate change is real, but doesn't believe that humans are the primary contributors. Said it's more likely due to fossil fuels and emissions.

So just who does he suppose is burning those fossil fuels and creating those emissions?

Ah yes, makes sense. I used to have a t-shirt that had a picture of Potsie in clown makeup that read "Insane Clown Potsie".

Still, I think Trumpettes would strike a more feral chord with his supporters. They fear turning gay and end up grabbing each other in the cranks.
