I've always held Carson in high regard.Carson Duggan was the glue that kept this team together last year………the rest of you can determine why she departed. OSU would be wise to bring her back !
Completely blindsided by this. I'm rarely on campus during the summer months, and didn't have a clue this was coming. Hoping for the best as the program moves forward, but truly don't know what to think.

I've had the opportunity to interact directly with Carson. While the time I've spent with her is admittedly limited, I found her to be positive and professional in each case. By reputation, she's a good coach who treats players in a respectful manner. Those were the things I had in mind.Wasn't she the assistant coach that showed up late to the airport with Nate after they both had been drinking? I thought that story came out when Nate was fired.

Don't worry too much everyone. I predict they'll still make it to the WCHA playoffs no matter who the coaches are so it's not really that big of a deal because nobody else is going to beat the Badgers and Gophers in the olayoffs anyway so it's all a moot point. It's always a battle for who is "the best of the rest."
Olayoffs...Now that could be intriguing.
Is that the annual contest to find the best bullfighter??
It's actually an Olympic style corporate challenge to see which company can layoff the greatest number of employees....thus, Olayoffs.
How about a tOSU alum who currently works for TSN?
Sincerely doubt she would leave her job. She appears to be a rising star at TSN.
This could be a very competitive team if all of the pieces are kept together.
We all know who the right candidate is for this job. Just watching it blow up in the end would be worth double the admission price.

Wasn't Dan Koch a candidate 5 or 6 years ago for the Ohio St. job?
Aha! And while we are promoting 20th Century coaching techniques for motivating 21st Century players, maybe OSU would also consider bringing back wooden sticks.I hope not! Mark Johnson isn't getting any younger. The OSU coach....I was referring to a very nice and outgoing Canadian lady who used to be the coach of a successful Minnesota team.

I don't want Coach Koch going anywhere either! I just happened to remember his name being mentioned in the past as a candidate for that job. I don't see much positive out of this situation at all.. No matter who they find to coach this season. Every player wants to know where they stand with a coaching staff. Lots of uncertainty now for many of the players..
