There's an Mite Madness Tournament going on at Smead. They have to clear out the Mite Moms from the rink to prevent them for telling the college coaches how good their 8 year old is.

I will be extremely happy to be back in the cozy confines of Maxcy. Our host arenas this year have been excellent to all of us, but you can't beat being at home. A good win last night for the Bears, Becker today. I know little to nothing about them.

Come on now...the game was IN Cortland. Its obvious they must have sent the "B" team in against the SUNYACs 2nd to last team in the standings. They must have planned ahead tho because they have their first back-to-back away NC weekend since 2010 but had to put a "travel" day in between Cortland and WNEC.

Things only got worse for the Bears last night after the loss. I heard the transmission went out on the bus as they were leaving. Then they had to wait for a replacement bus to arrive. I think the Bears got home early this morning, as in the daylight hours. Memories for a life time I bet.

How in the heck do we lose to Morrisville? We just doubled their win total for the year! Holy Toledo I am beyond rattled at this point. The Bears have a new rink coming for the next season and we may not even make the playoffs this season. Unacceptable....

They did manage to kill all but the last second of their 5 min. major in OT, some credit due there.

How did SLU blow a 3-0 3rd period lead against Clarkson (I'm 2/2 in seeing blown 3 goal, 3rd period leads)? It happens.

No credit is due there. (Heck, they didn't even need to kill off 5 minutes. They just needed to kill off 3:16.) And it wasn't even the last second. It was the last two-tenths of a second.

You play to WIN the game.

The road tested Bears have before them a huge task. The big weekend into Western New York, first at Fredonia and then at Buffalo State. With a sweep the Bears would launch themselves into a fight for a home playoff date. I do not wish to think of the outcome without at least 2 points from this weekend.

If they don't beat Fredonia, the Massena Arena can look to rent out some available ice time in late February...

Well, another tough loss on the road for the Bears. So this eliminates the Bears from a home ice playoff date. It's just so darn frustrating for this fan, every year we start out great and generate some hope, only to fizzle out as the year goes on.
