Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

Re: Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

It's hard to sift through RWD's post menopausal rants and hot flashes, just tell the man what he needs to know.;)

I thought it was pretty obvious if you've even come close to watching WCHA play in the last few years.

Re: Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

Someone (NOT me) suggested that each team can only have one rivalry, so is Denver calling their one rivalry CC or UND?

You're directing that to a person who thinks I am old and fat, so... yeah, not a very observant individual.

But hey, yet another person obsessed with me. Maybe cross cheque and the Tea Bagger from Goon's blog can get together and giggle about me.

Re: Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

Someone other than CC cares about Denver?

Do Robbie Bina and Jesse Martin ring a bell?

wiki:
In the Semi-final of the 2005 WCHA playoffs against Denver, Bina sustained a career-threatening injury during a delayed penalty call against North Dakota. Having reached for the puck to stop play, he was hit illegally from behind by Denver winger Geoff Paukovich, causing him to crash into the boards and break his neck.

Huffington Post Denver:
The University of Denver says forward Jesse Martin suffered three neck fractures during a game at North Dakota. Martin was hit by North Dakota forward Brad Malone in the second period.

Re: Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

Possibly subconsciously.

Two broken necks between them. At least that trumps us, since Genoway only got a widdle concussion.

And the Dasher dance/walking out onto the ice fiasco... and Alanna Rizzo's comments... and DG's constant fanning of the flames... and the 2004 regionals... and the 2005 national championship game...

Where's Mr. Genius Motox to comment on how all these things happened in the PAST and aren't RELEVANT to a RIVALRY?

Plus Denver is actually good at hockey.

Don't forget Prpich nutting Pauk! Which is what led to the Dasher Dancer receiving his name.

Don't forget Dave Ramsey the Gazette beat writer.

Re: Post-Apocalyptic (BTHC) WCHA Biggest Rivalries

Ramsey is the CC writer who has a hard-on for UND. Mike Chambers is the DU writer who hates UND.

Well that's nice of you to miss me already. Of course rivalries are built on past events. In your case though, you seem to have quite the obsession with one Mr. Raboin and the past events specifically related to him. I was just calling you out on that.....no need to get all worked up about it, again.

It's pretty egregious behaviour for the parent of the captain of the hockey team, and a guest of the University, and it happened more than once. But hey, if you'd like to be proud of that, go ahead and thump your chest about it. I'd be ashamed if a UMD parent behaved like that and I'd hope UMD would at the very least remove him/her and speak to them about how their child is getting a free or subsidized education and they are receiving free tickets as guests of the university, and should act in a way that respects such privileges.

Completely agree. Did I in any way defend the behavior or say I was proud of it? Let's not start making things up out of thin air. Btw, how's the view from way up there on your pedestal? President of the WCHA Righteous Committee, 2011 National Champions........really living the dream over there.
