Forgot about Newsbot, as that is a fairly recent thing.
For those new to this, the "prize" is that the "winner" has to have "2014 Poser Of The Year" in their sig until the next "winner" is crowned. Of course, this cannot be forced. I'd like to think that the PoTY would own their title; accept the responsibility.

Some of us weren't eligible right off the bat and had to work our way to eligibility.This isn't a prize you want to win, despite recent winners like Ralph.

Just the opposite....if there is no election he cannot win, and his desperation (see the signature about "finalist" or "runner-up" or whatever) is so obvious....

Seriously, the only rules to this thing have to do with a post count eligibility and the mysterious rules on how tie breakers are decided. I have no clue where you get the ideas you do about this "event", but there's nothing anywhere nearly so structured as you'd like this thing to be.

There is a rule on tiebreakers. Most have figured out the rule on poster eligibility to be entered in the contest in the first place. And there is a formula to determine the groups, which makes it that much more fun when you get a Group Of Death. Groups are NOT up to the organizer to decide.
