Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge 204: Covid 19

I made an appointment at my hair salon for Friday afternoon. I'm anxious about it, but also looking forward to it. They have some pretty stringent rules in place, including having to wait in your car till they text you that it's OK to go in the salon. I figure I will get it done now.

I bought a new, rather cheap (both in price and quality) pedestal fan on Saturday. The one I have in my room works but it's covered in dust, etc. I can try to clean it but I think I would need to take it outside to hose it off. Anyway, I put the new one together Saturday the stand was kind of wobbly and at 4am, the fan part of it fell completely off. That was a fun way to be woken up. I redid it this morning. Hopefully it will stay in place!

Yikes.

I currently have two haircut appointments in the system. One is for 06/20, the other for 07/18. That way, if they’re not ready, or I’m not comfortable going on the first date, I’ve got a backup plan.

Now I’m annoyed as I got a text reminder notification that said my appointment is Thursday, not Friday. Now, I have to call back to let them know. I’m really busy tomorrow and hope I can find the time. Grrr. I hope my hairdresser is actually available on Friday.

Tomorrow is Wednesday. Or is that just to call?

I am supposed to get a massage tomorrow. My neck is a mess and has been for weeks. It will be my first foray out other than to get a mammogram

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge 204: Covid 19

Evening, Lodge. My co-worker, who has been on a personal leave of absence (non-Covid-related) for just over a month, is now back to work. YAYZ! At least SOME sort of normalcy is back. Still busy as hell, though. No OT, but cutting it close. Everything disposable dining-ware and hair/beard coverings and gloves are flying out the door, due to the restaurants opening up.

FINALLY am going to get to see my parents this weekend, first time since about Christmas. It falls under the rules, and they feel comfortable enough to let it happen. Can't wait.

Good afternoon Lodge! Marketing day today- lilnsl shopped and I had to go get it and put it away. In the middle of the day messes up the rest of the day. If I don't get going at the start of the day then I am screwed up the rest of the day.

Good morning Lodge. Set myself up on my balcony this morning. It's a beautiful day today. Will probably move inside later as it gets warmer and the sun moves from the back of the building to the front. And then I can't see my screen.

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge 204: Covid 19

Good morning Lodge.

Started my day with the expectation of working from home. Updated some files at 5:30, baby woke up at 6:45, we took a short walk with wT baby and wT dog. Gorgeous morning out. Then I got an e-mail that those in the plant today would be getting gift cards as a thank you for having to come into the office. I've been in the office 3 out of 4 days each week (we're on a reduced schedule). I want my free money, and I see that the co-worker still isn't logged in at 8 am (we start at 7), so I gather my things and head to work.

I was looking forward to having baby breaks throughout the day.

Can you be more specific re: "this"?

Pro tip: cardboard cuts hurt just as much as paper cuts.

Good Evening Lodge! I posted earlier but I guess I didn't.

Cardboard cuts SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, I know. And, they are usually a touch wider than a paper cut, which makes it worse.

Evening, Lodge. Spent some of the evening coordinating reservations since us MNs can finally utilize patio seating at businesses. Most have the policy of hotels: no show, you get charged a fee of some sort. Very understandable, given the limited space.

Some friends and I are booking stuff 2 weeks out, to make sure we have a spot.
