Howdy Lodge peeps. Working from home today. It's been a few weeks since I've done that interestingly enough. Getting some laundry done.

I wasn't a fan of the merch either, even just the FF merch, not the champion stuff. I was gonna buy a hat, 'cause when I buy shirts my body keeps getting bigger but the clothes don't. Anyway all the hats I saw were white. I have no need for a white hat. I still like the Bemidji FF hat I bought in DC. Did I buy it as an excuse to say, 'I have a beaver on my head'? Yes, yes, I did. Is it a nice hat beyond that joke, yes, so nice that NaSK has commandeered it for himself, hence my needing a new Frozen Four hat.
 
BU's bookstore had a really nice hat and a t-shirt that they were promoting in emails. I usually wait to get a shirt till I know it's the last one I can get and this year I pre-bought so that's why BU lost. Heh.

Why doesn't DC bid on the FF again? It seems that the general feeling was that it was a good place even though there are no local teams. BTW, I was thinking that there were more cherry blossoms left last Thursday than there were back when it was here.

Feels like I brought back some Tampa weather with me. Enjoying 80 and sunny here in MI this week. Of course it'll be back to 50s next week when I have events that will keep me outside.

I know! It's going to be 86 here today. And in the high 70s tomorrow. It's Good Friday (for those of us that are of the Greek Orthodox persuasion) and part of the service is a procession outside so I'm glad the weather will be nice.
 
Good morning Lodge.

I have been at work for 10 minutes and I am already exhausted.
Did I get to work 1.5 hours after start time? yes, but that was expected as it was my turn to drop of the little one at daycare. 45 minutes of "I don't want to go to school". Yeah, well mommy doesn't want to go to work either. She woke up on her own, so I thought it'd be easier this morning, I wouldn't have a tired child. No, just a tearful child. I feel bad handing a crying 3 year old off to the teacher, but not bad enough to keep the crying kid home from school.
 
Howdy Lodge peeps.

It's Patriots Day and also Marathon Monday here in Boston. Patriots Day is a celebration to commemorate the start of the Revolutionary War. It's a state holiday and the start of April vacation week for schools. My company would give us this day as a holiday (just our office and our Hopkinton office) as our office is located a couple of blocks from the marathon finish line and it's basically impossible to get into the office that day. With many employees working from home, last year they took it away from us and gave us an extra personal day, which is nice. But I used to like having this day off. Especially when it falls the day after Easter.
