Congratulations Mark!! And sorry wT. I feel your pain. And congrats SOH and dxm. The better team won. Was fun to hang with you for a couple of periods. If not for some stupid penalties, could have been an interesting finish. Proud of my team and looking forward to next season already.
 
Good morning Lodge. First Monday of the off season. I had to come into the office this morning for something and I. Am. Dragging. Got home at an OK time yesterday. Wanted (needed) to go food shopping but my super market was closed for Easter. So, I had to have hot chocolate with my breakfast. I got a cup of coffee when I got here and it has done nothing.

Hope you all had a nice Easter (for those who celebrate). Holy Week started yesterday for me. It's going to be a beautiful week weather-wise here. In the 80s on Friday! Will feel like we're back in Tampa.

dxm - meant to say congrats to you on a great season and sorry for the loss. It was a fun game (for me - I had no dog in the race).

Mark - hope you're still enjoying it! Did you order a hat? And apropos of nothing, I was not a fan of any of the winning merch. Even the Hockey East stuff was crappy. The hats they gave the team on Saturday were kinda dull and the shirts they had on sale that night were also kind of blah. I hope Quinnipiac does better ones for you.

I don't think I'll ever stop enjoying it. That's allowed, right?

No hat, or anything else, yet. I'll let the dust settle a bit. Saw the online offerings and nothing really floated my boat. To be honest, I may just get a hat pin and call it a day. Maybe in October they'll have better and/or different stuff. We'll see.

I still can't believe we did it. Nor the way we did it. I think that's the most impressive thing. Not to be critical of the Gophers, but how were they not ready to go when OT started? How did they allow that entire sequence to happen? Maybe there's hockey gods after all...

Still on cloud nine and probably will be for a long time.
