Hey, hey, no. No.

The sports gods will not allow for both my hockey team and basketball team to both be good. So if my team is gonna miss out on the NCAA tourney, then the basketball team had better come home with a national championship.

My niece/goddaughter has her admissions interview at UMass-Lowell today. If they screw her, I will be wearing a Yale jersey next Thursday. Just sayin'.

Admissions interview? I've never even heard of having to do that. I thought you just filled out an application, possibly wrote some essays depending on the school, and that was it. Why would they do an interview?

She's transferring in from a local school that has a program with UML to go from there to UML. It's part of the process.

Ahh, ok. That makes more sense. I can see how an interview would be part of the process if she's transferring into a program. I was thinking that you were saying she was applying to go there out of high school.

Not everything's like engineering school, you know. "No activities, no social skills, no jobs held, in fact no real world experience whatsoever; but an 800 on the math SAT, so he's in." :D
