Oh. And I hear they screwed with the SATs, as I heard some kid got higher than a 1600. How's that even possible?!

My son applied to North Dakota....pretty sure the acceptance letter arrived before the app ever made it to Grand Forks.

My dad has a student ID from University of Iowa. There was a program that would have started a week before the school year, so they sent him an ID ahead of time. He went to Michigan.

I'm waiting for a player or fan to carve it into his hairdo. And dye it.

Done and done. Actually, my sophomore year some of my friends did that for the State football game. 2 of the guys carved it into their hairdos and they and 2 girls then colored their hair with that spray on hair color stuff. Such a shame I was in the marching band and missed out (not actually a shame).

My favorite is still a guy that had a rose shaved into his hair when we made the Rose Bowl.

Have an interview today. Then right after, I am heading up to St. Cloud for Mr. wore Black's grandma's wake and the funeral is tomorrow.

I'm not sure they actually claim skeeterman....

I would guess you'll see Weldie there, I'm pretty sure he's making it. You may not know him, he forgot his USCHO password years ago, then forgot the password to the email account linked to USCHO, and promptly gave up trying.

I know Weldie is making the trip. Don't know about Skeeterman. I would think so. Even if I didn't have anything going on, I would not make the trip due to lack of funds.

I don't know if there will be a uscho poster event or drinkfest but I'd really love to run into people... this is my first real time at the "convention" but it seems we've passed the hey-day.

I considered the Final F5 but I realized that this was a possibility... as it stands I think I'll end this stretch in the hole about 2100-2200 when its all said and done.

I considered the Final F5 but I realized that this was a possibility... as it stands I think I'll end this stretch in the hole about 2100-2200 when its all said and done.

Well, I always over count my figures... this is two trips and I've added things like shirts and beers into it. Right now I'm already about 800 into Pittsburgh before I even get there (400 travel, 200+ hotel, 200 tickets)... I had to spend 500 in travel for boston (400 flight, 100 car)... nevermind the 120 for tix between myself and dad (1 game).

I ran into fritz without meaning to in Milwaukee. I only recognized him because of the Post Yourself thread and then he was standing in front of me on the escalator. We chatted. It was a moment. Even if he is a BADger fan. My choice of screen name confused him.

$400 travel to Pitts? From DC, right?

I'm probably going to go Saturday. I'm very tempted to go Thursday, but there's something I want to be in Ann Arbor for Saturday morning. So, unless I drive down and back for Thursday, I'll probably just go Saturday. Plus, I have a friend with an extra ticket Saturday, but he already has a friend using his Thursday ticket.

Also, why do people think I'm weird for planning to go to a play Friday night, be up at 6 am Saturday, go to a garage sale at 7 am, leave A^2 around 9 or 10, drive to Pittsburgh, attend hockey game, sleep somewhere, drive back next day? I see no problem with that schedule. In fact, I think it's awesome.
