Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

And now there's a puddle in bb_dl's carpet :D
That EC performance was great. Just sitting on a stool, playing an acoustic guitar and singing. He's as good as it gets in his generation. If he doesn't win male vocalist, it will be a complete screwjob. (it already is a screwjob that he wasn't nominated for entertainer )

Twang was discussed in the Lodge Friday night. In the lodge by laws it states that twang can only be discussed once a month. Sorry blue.....rules are rules. ;)

I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about. I think Church is very easy to like for people that aren't country fans because he is very genuine. That and Springsteen is just a great song. If you like Springsteen, I recommend listening to a few of his older songs that weren't singles, Carolina and Those I've Loved are 2 of my favorites.

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

I need a place that calculates tolls between one place to another. AAA doesn't do it. Google maps either. I am too tired and irritated. WHy is this so freaking difficult to access????

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

I just finished sending as load of rep so that later in the week I can send malaciously worded "Uncle Ray" rep to posters who root for teams in the Frozen Four. Gee, I hope this won't cause you too much inconvenience. :D
Knock yourself out. If you need a list, that can be provided, too. And maybe you should sign them "UncleRimbaud."

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

This week will not go by quick enough.
In regards to your rep: I've got my eye on you, young man. I'm done with chicklets today, so I'll have to catch up with you tomorrow.

Carolina is one of his best songs ever.

It would be if I could find a flipping place that would tell me numbers to start with.
Have you tried the various state Department of Transportation websites?

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

My stomach is still not right after that Strawberita. ****.
So who's among you geniuses thought it would be a good idea to slam those things?? Or was this more of a case of the herd dictating how the evening was going to go??

Just dinged you know who, still much to be proud of. Like I said, its going to take a while...

Back from a wedding that I think you would have liked BBDL. old tailgating buddy of mine got hitched Saturday. And they had rented out this place called the Hitching Post. From the invite, I was thinking it was a bar of some kind where they was going to do the whole wedding and reception at. Turns out that it was in this old dairy barn. I was kind of sceptical about the place at first, as the wedding ceremony was held down below in what used to be the milking parlor. low ceiling and it was kind of chilly in there, but what do you expect from an old barn? But I was very impressed with the place upstairs in what had been the hayloft. Just all open underneath the round top barn roof, with a bunch of lights hung up in it. still original barn floor on it, that looked pretty worn from a lot of hay sitting on it, and that was the dance floor. And to top it all off, about 30 feet above us, there was an old hay elevator hanging up over the dance floor that they had strung up bunch of white Christmas lights to it.

I was **** near bottom holed. I had to practically slam it, those are the rules of the game.

He's likely enlisted counter reppers despite his great professing that he simply doesn't care about rep...even though he said that he's a better poster on this board because he has more rep.

I've been sick all day and it sucks. Low-grade mixed with aching all over does not make for a happy day. I had planned to go into the office, but now I'm going into work early tomorrow instead. Ugh.

Its sounding more and more like the only way to really have won that game was not to play.

How Bout You was my introduction to Church.

Sounds like math.
Indeed.

This week can go by as fast or as slow as it wants. All I have to do is work and file my taxes. And maybe drink some wine on Saturday night.

Probably right. We probably should let Ralph play around with some Math and figure out just how many times we would need to hit him in theory to have him go from full rep to red, and heck, just how many of them there would need to be just to start taking skittles off of him, assuming of course that everybody that dings him is at full rep and he doesn't account for those that give him positive rep.
