Plattsburgh vs Williams Monday Night!

Re: Plattsburgh vs Williams Monday Night!

Williams, especially at home is a classic clutch and grab kind of team.

Re: Plattsburgh vs Williams Monday Night!

Plattsburgh did the standing eight count - you're out after big hits until the 1992 season when Mike McNamara didn't get up...

Re: Plattsburgh vs Williams Monday Night!

I hope Satim is okay for this weekend...don't wanna play SUNYAC games without the leading scorer

Re: Gulliver and the Lilliputians

I believe that is Ryan Scott...ehhhhh

Scott is listed as 6'6". Octavian Jordan is 6'5" but is he still on the team? After that, the next tallest player is 6'2" and thats Smigelski and a freshman D, Brofft.

Anyway, Williams seems to be doing a terrific job of blocking shots in front of Purdy. I give a lot of credit to the Williams D'

I think that the picture is old and that it is of Greg Schultz, who was 6-6 and graduated a couple of years ago.

Scott was my first thought, but he's wearing a C which then lead me to think Smigelski, but he's too tall to be Smigelski... Schultz was my next thought (the C being my reason), but I don't know.

Scott is #9, Smigelski is #10, and Schultz was #9. The number looks obscured, but I don't think it looks like a 9 or a 10, more like a 2 (or a number whose second digit is 2)

Umm.....I wonder how many "takers" Williams had on their $10 audio feed?

3:36 left in 3rd

It's Chris Fahey - last year's capt who wore # 2 and was 6-5 and 230 lbs - Williams likes the big boys for some reason.

They're a NESCAC school. Plenty of parents willing to throw their money away...

Good point, Russell!

For the record, everybody in SUNYAC pick 'em picked Plattsburgh and nobody predicted (any where close to) a 2-1 score.

Makes sense. Haha, I totally missed him when I was looking at the rosters. Saw the C on Smigelski, and moved on to the previous season. Oops :o

Re: Plattsburgh vs Williams Monday Night!

Heading into OT

Plattsburgh 1
Williams 1

I sure hope Platty can score one in OT...a tie isn't good enough for me against this team

Likely no one expected TWO game ending injuries in the first period :(
