I know - that's what we love-hate-love-hate about you...:D:eek::confused::mad:

Haha its all good. I have the upmost respect for Oswego and their fans (for the most part) while a good ribbing at the game will never hurt anyone, I will always tip one back with the green and gold before and after a game....even Princess Prozak. I have family staying at the same hotel as Oswego so im bound to run into a few this weekend. Id even offer to take a few up but you will only get me to slow down to 30 going by Potsdam, an open side door, and a push if you want to stop for Fridays game.....

Remy is one of my favorite posters on here because much of what he says about Oswego is what I want to say but if he says it, the Laker fans can turn their venom against the enemy rather than cannibalizing one of their own.

Re: Plattsburgh State Hockey 2012-13 - Season 24

No, the quote was that after the first line "they are a very ordinary team and not as deep as Plattsburgh or Geneseo up front". Proven by avg point per game (as ill explain later why point per game ****#1).

Hey you got one.

Boy IDK 2nd in the SUNYAC with still a chance at first with one of the youngest Cardinal teams ever that's only got better and better as the seasons gone on. And we all know Oswegos track record compared to Plattsburghs in games that COUNT....but go on....

Ummm that was the whole original question/point ....

And I did check out the second line....and while a tad better, Plattsburghs 3rd and 4th lines are night and day better then Oswego's.....next

**#1 No its not. Its very relevant. Plattsburgh has been juggling lines all season. Guys in and out of the line up players can not get into a groove. That's huge. More games = More points. Thus giving them much LARGER numbers. Hense the reason i used avg. points per game. Still with me here?

Gentlemen? Are we going to have tea time too? Talk about irrelevant....2007 and number of players? Umm okay? I wonder why they only have 24 players hmmmm not enough aid to give out...opps did I say that?!?!? A coach going into a season with over a dozen seniors should have had a few more recruits...hmmmm

TOTO said:
Also, if you doubt the depth of Oswego's bench, look back to the first game of the year against Genny, where 'wego scored 10 goals from 10 different goal-scorers. That Genny team defeated Platty just one week afterwards.

It was actually two weeks buts who's counting.....and yes that same Platty team who went on to BEAT Oswego TWO weeks later. (see I check my stats before I spew).

And Oswego scored one...whats your point?? No one said Oswegos defense was dirt poor, but when teams come at them a-la Utica/Plattsburgh they cough up mistakes.

Of which the breakaway...nothing to do with the defense? McConney plays what? Oh thats right defense. GO FIGURE! Brenton pressed the high point, McConney couldn't handle the pass and pressure and coughed it up....NEXT!

I was trying to be nice. No not really. I think Hare is a decent goaltender, and does bail his team out. Tho the missplay during the Morrisville game was not good. He's not Marty B. Carr has taken a small step back this year.

And with out a doubt its been more thr play of the freshmen as the bright spot. What Plattsburgh is doing with 11/12 regular freshman and a banged up defense is pretty impressive.

No actually it was tied thanks to the cheap shot at the end of the game and the missed hit from behind/boarding :10 seconds into the game on Grace which knocked him out for a period and could have been longer. Plattsburgh was also missing 3 defensive starters that night and scrambled putting Nick Jensen on D for his first time EVER.

And its very possible that Oswego will go home with nothing but another dissapointing season with no hardware WHEN IT COUNTS......AGAIN.....see at Plattsburgh we worry more about Championships then some regular season wins. Plattsburgh wins when it counts....Oswego....not so much....

Game. Set. Match.

You're seeing the stats you want to see and ignoring the stats you don't like. There's a reason that Oswego is ranked #2 in the country right now while Platty remains mired in 9th. There's a reason that Oswego's win percentage is higher than Plattsburgh's right now. There's a reason the KRACH ratings favor Oswego over Plattsburgh 75% to 25%. I'm not saying that Platty isn't a good team, they're a great team. Could they win? Sure. But any reasonable and unbiased look at the stats show Plattsburgh as the underdog.

And gloating over that 2-1 "blowout" last semester really doesn't do much for you. If Plattsburgh was as superior as you claim they are, they should've destroyed Oswego 5-0. It took Chewy standing on his head and channeling his inner Brodeur for Platty to win that game and they should build a statue of Chewy in front of plattsburgh's barn for that performance.

The two teams are very evenly matched and it could go either way. If Oswego wins it'll likely by by 2, 3 or even 4 goals. If Plattsburgh wins, it'll likely be 2-1 or 1-0.

We've got to get you back for a game sometime.....lol he still talks about it.

Unfortunately I've moved to Colorado and probably won't be seeing a game in person for quite some time. I may plan on making the trip back in the next few years for a whiteout weekend though.

If they build a statue of any Plattsburgh goalie in front of Plattsburgh's barn it should be of Bryan Hince, and most Oswego fans will agree!

He lives in the city that is right next to the one that I live in. They actually border each other :D

And in support of Remy - he doesn't mince his words, usually what he says has some basis in fact. Rarely does he see hidden conspiracies, unlike some other controversial posters.

Colorado is 104,094 sq miles in size and divided into 64 counties, and you two are in bording counties? There has to be some conspiracy going on.

Same county. Lafayette and Louisville are both in Boulder County.

Ahh, I misread it, bording cities, with 271 towns/cities in Colorado that just about proves a conspiracy is going on.
