How many seats/stands will be available at the door this year after all is said and done?
Note, the free student tickets REQUIRE a valid student ID at the door.
they say that, but I don't know that it was ever enforced last season.....![]()
Unless I'm horribly misreading this, it looks like 13 freshman and 15 upperclassmen. Especially with 3 freshman goaltenders, that does appear to cast doubt on the team's season. Looks to me like more of a rebuilding year, but I could be wrong... (and certainly hope I am)[/QUOT Optimistic are you? Let's face it, the coaches have a pretty good eye for those"special" players that just fit well into the system. Sometimes it may take a little adjustment for the new guys but I never doubt their choices. Year after year, things just come together. Looking forward to all the new faces and especially the competition there should be for goaltending. Can't wait!!
When Plattsburgh faces Concordia-Montreal on October 15, this Concordia player won't be playing his first game against the Cardinals.
PSU plays Concordia on the 17th. The first official practice is on the 15th.
Assuming the Concordia game is free, season ticket holders are paying $110 for eleven games this year. I understand the scheduling limitations, the fact that we have to switch off with our non-conference opponents and the renovations have to be paid for somehow. Nevertheless, ten bucks is a little pricey for a DIII hockey game (reserved seat or not).
You are paying for the seat, not the game, which is why I never liked the reserved seating only policy. But we don't need to go there again this year.
Purchasing a season ticket eliminates the hassle of standing in line waiting for tickets, both during the regular season and playoffs (season ticket holders have first priority), plus having the knowledge of securing a reserved seat for every home game during the season.
The admission costs for single games are $5 regular-season reserved seat, $8 Oswego (Nov. 7) and $10 per day of Cardinal Classic (Jan. 1-2, two games on both days). These tickets are available at the Field House Box Office. Procedures about single-game sales will be announced later when details have been finalized.
I don't think the Concordia game is free. Red and White game on the 24th is.
Do you know if its included in our season tickets? If it is, excellent. If not, it should be. I can certainly understand it being a paid game as they are a very solid opponent.
