There's a real buzz amongst diehard Card fans that something special could be happening this year. You can't help but like the pieces already in place. All-American senior goalie, 6 returning defensemen, a large array of talented forwards and some real stud rookies. Put that in the stew with one of top coaches in college hockey, and you have something.
It feels a little like the '08-09 team. Strong in goal and a stellar defense, and a lot of talented young forwards!! Can't wait !!

The varsity program at Plattsburgh began in 1975-76, making this the 38th season....For the record, the coaches have been:
1975-76 John Corker
1976-80 Louis Frigon
1980-82 Herb Hammond
1982-84 Doug Kacharvich
1984-89 Steve Hoar
1989- Bob Emery

I don't think Plattsburgh would ever give up a home game where they will likely get 1700+ to go play at Glens Falls in front of 500 or so.

The Friday 1/4/13 tickets for Plattsburgh fans were included in their season tickets - Attendance 871 - versus the 475 in attendance on Tuesday 12/7/10. Both games were on traditional work days.

As long as your better than the last wanna be you'll be fine..... also, don't creep the girls team all the time like he did... haha

A blog with some video (Vine) snippets that captures the personality of the team and staff from a POV that most fans never get to see would be great fun. It's not about polish, its about access... Oh - make sure AD and the Coach are cool with it... Good Luck!

"Usually 95% full if not sold out." Perhaps true of ticket sales... But there's an unfortunate gap between ticket sales (season tickets, to be more specific) and actual attendance. Some of the announced attendance numbers during break while the students are out are just plain laughable...
