There's part of me that really wants to see the university re-install the ice-making machinery in that building (along with a new Olympic-sized sheet) and convert the place into a practice facility.

Wait, wrong thread. :D

I'd settle for a winter surface of some kind - perhaps 4 sheets of curling.

Hey Guys,

I created a website this summer called The CCHA Arena Guide. I have a picture and all the details on all the rinks in the CCHA. I will be adding a flash slideshow of each rink when I get a little time.

The future NHC

Why is K Lot at an even plane with the NHC? I know it's been a few years since I've been to a game, but there should be a 15-20 foot incline between the street and the arena. Are they really going to make that new entrance that big? Because I remember it being recessed from the curb a good 60-70 feet, too.

I always assumed that most of the addition to the rink size would be on the west end of the arena, going out towards 5th Ave.

Re: Pictures of Your Arena

Hopkinja.. Lynah's a nice rink & the gm atmosphere is awesome.. but is it me or those seats look like benches (bleachers) & they look cold... Ithaca doesn't get snow does it.. :)

Yes, they are wooden benches set up off of concrete steps with ~2" brackets. I suppose they are cold - wouldn't know, as I've never sat on one. :)

A screaming ton of pictures, mostly game action, from Lynah here. Click the word "Photos" next to "Box Score" for the pics from that game.

Re: Pictures of Your Arena

I love the shots. Thank you to all who have posted.

Anyone have shots of SLU's Appleton Arena, Lynah and/or Princeton? Thanks again.
I have a couple shots of Appleton, but they came out fairly dark, so I chose not to post them. Maybe I'll try it though, just so we have some shots on the thread.
