I can appreciate your point of view and of course you are going to come to your own conclusions, I wouldn't expect differently. I was under the impression we were having a debate, sorry if I made you feel otherwise.
For the record, at this time, I am not interested in Bachman as president either. I was simply pointing out that there are two edges to this sword you wield with regards to condemning someone who has a strong belief in their religion and your fear of their possible chance of becoming leader of our country. If I am not mistaken, those same fears were voiced when Kennedy ran for office, people were afraid of his Catholic faith and how he might use his faith to guide his decisions in office. Obviously, people are able to lead a religious personal life and at the same time, hold public office without enforcing their personal religion on the masses. For you to assume that Bachman or any other candidate is unable to conduct themselves professionally in office, IMO, is a contradiction of your views of Obama. He has been able to govern the country without openly imposing the beliefs that were preached by his mentor for all of those years he attended his church, then surely you can see that others are able to do the same thing….Unless you really did buy into his campaign proclamation that "A LIGHT WILL SHINE THROUGH THAT WINDOW, A BEAM OF LIGHT WILL COME DOWN UPON YOU, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE AN EPIPHANY ... AND YOU WILL SUDDENLY REALIZE THAT YOU MUST GO TO THE POLLS AND VOTE FOR OBAMA" - BARACK OBAMA ,
Yea, you're right, it's scary when someone thinks they hear G-d talking to them, or worse yet, that they are the ONE that G-d has sent to save the country and the world
