On a political note, did you notice how our fearless leader has taken a little Vaca up at the Vineyard, after taken a 3 day bus tour of the midwest, just to rehash his same sorry speech. Hope and Change at it's finest…2012 just can't come fast enough…..S&P is being investigated since downgrading the US; don't like the message, shoot the messenger. What a fri*cken putz!!!!! My ears bleed every time, he starts reading from his teleprompter, with his same tired speech, he should just set up a tape recorder on a podium and hit play.

Not so bad....started the summer by learning that Aruba is a simply awesome vacation destination. I had two worries while I was down there.... in the words of Zach Brown, there was the worry about whether "the tide's gonna reach my chair", LOL and the other worry was what time the pool bar was going to open.

To Brooky and CHG, sorry to have interrupted your Pi**ing contest, LOL, but clearly random thoughts are welcome here.

Well I did say "all for now" so I wasn't necessarily finished. There is one GOP hopeful I dislike less than the rest...but he scared me with one of his stances during the debate.

Slight quoting gaffe there clown? I don't think Ice was the recipient of any free tickets to Gopher hockey. Who said I didn't have the "wherewithal" to pay? You're apparently having some trouble with the meaning of that word.

At this point, my dog could do better than the current President….he has the King Sadim touch (Anti-Midas touch), everything he touches turns to S H I T. Unemployment-UP, Poverty-UP, Debt-UP, World respect for America-Down, Financial Rating-Down….US Dollar-Worthless. Good thing you weren't a blonde girl, Aruba seems to be an unlucky place for beautiful blonde girls. Can't beat the pool bar at an all inclusive vacation, can't believe I waited so long to go on this type of vacation. The only way to go

Getting back to your earlier accusations and my request for your proof to back them up. Been waiting a long time now. I've re-quoted them yet again for your convenience. Still interested in the answers to my inquiries. If you knew the first thing about class you'd have the stones to admit you don't have any answers to the questions...no proof to back up your ridiculous accusations, don't have one clue what you're yapping about and you were talking out your rear end as usual.

Well, by stating that you would vote for my dog, before any of the republican candidates, implies that you are considering a change from the current administration, since you are evaluating the current republican field of candidates and have chosen my dog as your candidate of choice. Because my original statement was that even my dog, could do a better job than President Obama. So by stating that my dog is better than the republican candidates, you agree that not only is he better than Obama, but also any of the other candidates. My dog, would be so happy to know that you admire his leadership ability.

With regards to the poem that followed…I thing it is pretty dead on with regards to the condition of our country under the current leadership

Actually..... I WAS the recipient of free tickets to Gopher Hockey. The 2010 Frozen Four, when my daughter was one of the participants......indeed, my wife and I accepted 2 "comp'd" tickets to the event.

Minnesota must be the only state without high unemployment, the housing market must be booming, food prices must be really low, gas prices too, the US dollar value must be riding high, and Minnesota was exempt from the latest downgrade. I forgot, Minnesota is also the only state not in over it's head in debt from spending like a drunken sailor. No wonder you like Obama, he must have exempted Minnesota from the stupidity that is called his presidency.

How is that even pertinent? The President was raised in a white upper middle class household. I'm sure the preacher's perspective was just as bizarre to him as any other product of a white upper middle class upbringing - like mine. He went to church for wife and kids - he doesn't seem particularly religious to me.

The sermon's are a small part of the whole 'church going' thing. Focusing on a crazy old preachers words born of another generation and experience as a condemnation of a man means that you'd have to go after any number of politicians as many of them seem to have relationships with preachers who are quite non politically correct.

Sillywench, excellent points, but if I may...... why offer this preacher a formal role in your inaugural ceremony? I think this act had a lot to do with the whole "guilty by association" charge that many are asserting.
