Penn State Volleyball on life support

Re: Penn State Volleyball on life support

as i recall, you only got points when you served. i guess they change the rules to move the game along now....

Re: Penn State Volleyball on life support

I think they mean soccer not football.

You are correct. From the UNC website:

Aug. 30, 1986: defeated UMass, 4-0, in the 1986 season opener, first of an NCAA record 103 games without a loss.

According to a SI report after Penn State beat Penn on Dec. 4:

The streak is the second-longest streak in Division I team sports behind only the 137 straight match wins by the Miami men's tennis program. Penn State last loss in September 2007 to Stanford.

several years ago, they changed to rally scoring, meaning points on every serve, but bumped it from 15 to 30 points (the 5th game, which was 15 points rally scoring already, remained the same)
