Penn st. Job?????

Re: Penn st. Job?????

Just my humble opinion, but the first four minutes of my interview with Joe Battista should squelch any rumors that Guy was not an after-thought as some here think.

Steve, Guy wasn't an after thought he just wasn't their first choice. IMO, still a good choice.

After-thought wasn't the right way to put it. Probably due to lack of sleep and the buzz wearing off. I'm not sure about what you're saying -- the more I talked to Joe the more I thought that GG became their first choice.

However, as you say, he is still a great choice, as would have been Johnson or Sandelin. This is gonna be a fun ride.

Geez, I'm looking at the video -- I'm getting a little thin on the edges up top. Sux getting old! :D

Re: Penn st. Job?????

Guy was the third choice for the job when he got hired at UAF. That turned out pretty well for the Nanooks and I'm sure the same will be said in three or four years at Penn State. He has a proven record of taking crappy teams and making them relevant in a few years.

But he isn't taking over a crappy team.:p

You're more talented than I thought if you can type a blog on a typewriter.
