That's incorrect. She's removed herself from throwing last, but as far as I know, will still be skipping (i.e. will still be the one in the house holding the broom when she's not throwing). That's what's going with the men's team right now (skip Shuster is throwing 3rd), as well as with one of the other women's teams (who came in with their skip throwing second).

Also, it was previously mentioned in the thread, albeit a couple pages back.

Smith playing a take-out shot for three in the sixth end... I'm not liking his call for sweeping right off the throw... oh geez, it hit on the wrong side and GB steals one. Bad call of the shot by Shuster, he had the sweepers off of it for the last half to third. :(

As per MSNBC-- all liquor stores in Vancouver will be closing down 4 hours early tonight, due to previous unprecedented large numbers of intoxicated people following the hockey games. Alcohol will still be for sale at the Olympic venues, however.

Upgrade your package for the Olympics and then downgrade it again. At most you pay 1 month at the higher rate.

Online at nbcolympics.com You'll need your DTV logon/password to view. And you'll be able to watch everything else too.

They are going to play at some point, right? Are they just going to talk for three hours?
