Additionally, Quick was asked to cover up "Support Our Troops". :rolleyes:

The US four-man bobsled team was forced to cover up "The Night Train" name on the side of their sled, though the graphics remain.

I hope to meet the man who hired this broadcast team. They each have their strengths and weaknesses but the tie breaker is the fact that they can't get the names of ANYONE right. I'm surprised kane's name is the only one left. But I'm holding out hope!

3pm: Finland v. Belarus
7:30 pm: Sweden v. Germany
Midnight: Czech Republic v. Slovakia

It also looks like they made him cover the Michigan State "S" that is on the bicep of the bulldog.

I am loving watching all this M and W hockey.

Anyone else notice the the Canadian women score, they are never really that happy about it? It's like they have the weight of the nation on their shoulders.

Why did the Norwiegians send their women's team to play the Canadian Men? The Norwiegians didn't even try to check anyone, they just played the role of practice cones.

Awesome job by the ladies totally waxing the ex-commies. The Russians sure gave up on that game early. They had these glazed over looks on their faces.

Though, I would give ski jumping a pass.

• Downhill skiing: Fastest one to the bottom wins. A sport.
• Ski jumping: Whoever jumps the farthest wins, but there are style points involved. Anything that involves style points is not a sport.
Surprisingly, not a sport.
• Cross-country skiing: First one to the Finnish line wins. A sport.
• Freestyle skiing: Includes subjectively judged events. Not a sport.
• Ice hockey: Objective scoring. Missing teeth. A sport.
• Ice dancing: You're kidding, right?
• Curling: Frozen shuffleboard with brooms, objectively scored. Shockingly, a sport (though possibly more of a game).
• Luge: Fastest one to the bottom wins. A sport.
• Bobsled: See luge.
• Speedskating: Fastest one wins. A sport.
• Biathlon: Skiing and shooting while resisting shooting the guy in front of you. A sport -- and one that would be huge in Texas,
where I live, if we had more snow.

Question: So I was reading the hockey olympics page, and came across the rules. Here's what they say:

Overtime rules: If a game is tied at the end of regulation, a 4-on-4, sudden-death overtime period will be played (five-minute OT in preliminary round, 10-minute OT in playoff round and 20-minute OT in gold-medal game). If the game is not decided in overtime, it will go to a shootout.

Does this mean that the medal rounds can be determined by a SHOOTOUT?

Yes. Isn't that how the US women lost to Sweden in the last olympics in the semis?
