Some kind of big rig bucket lift cutting a tree on the 14th hole way back, for one one thing. A little minor trimming elsewhere. I wish they had taken out the whole line of trees on the right side of 18 :D

Hey,
How about you guys using your e-mails to trade all this chatter about your personal lives and experiences. The thread is about Laker hockey. We have the 2nd half coming up and there is much to talk about besides your golf, your drinking, your driving experiences, your bono fides as commentators, and endless personal details which have nothing to do with the team, its play, and the season. Frankly, if all that is being said takes one sentence, it probably is not worth sharing. At least I have found little that is edifying. You are obviously committed fans, but we are on page 24 and too much of this has been pure personal drivel. Sorry, but your personal lives are not that interesting.
I look forward to your observations about hockey.

Shot an 86 today, temps in the 60's. (And this is hockey related as so many will be heading to the golf course when their hockey season ends prior to the NCAA's.):D (Can you imagine? Somebody hijacked an Oswego thread. Oh, the irony:eek::).)

Looks like after today's snow it will be a while. You know this board is not the private domain of certain people. Maybe the reason there is so much OT talk is that there hasn't been a lot of hockey played lately

Every game we look for good drive out of the gate
We don't want to succumb to the other team's trap
You are penalized for a rough
We get depressed when someone slices through our D
The crowd goes "OHHH" when a shot hits the iron
Opponents hate to get wedged against the glass by our D
The hybrid icing is good
St. Norbert is the current Titleist
Every once in a while your team will get flagged for too many men on the ice
Saves are good.
On some teams a shutout is par for the course

And someone has the balls to say that golf has nothing to do with hockey???

Let us be thankful that we have yet to hear "Mashed Potatoes!" when somebody uncorks a wicked slappah!

Less than 48 hours until the Pathfinder tourney starts, any word on Jon Whitelaw or any newcomers? Who has the inside info?
