It's not one of the loudest chants but I hear it all the time. Not just Plattsburgh games. Maybe sit closer to the student section next time? They don't do it every time, but usually at least once a game.

Alright, so i think i've got this figured out, but wanted to make sure for tomorrows game. No WTOP broadcast...but Adrian will have their stream. From what im understanding, their stream cuts to random commercials every 15-20 minutes and comes back to where they left off. Now, does that mean if i listen to the WNYO broadcast after the commercial the audio and the stream will be out of sync due to the commercial? Thanks for the help.

If they do not buffer the live stream, i.e. just keep the server playing so you miss whatever happened during the commercial, then the sync should be ok...but I would guess that when they roll a commercial spot, they "pause" the action so that when you return, you haven't missed anything...as least that is what I would do...in that case, your sync won't hold....

Have you created a problem. All you have to do is "buffer" the Zamboni during the intermissions or "pause" the announcer during the commercial spots.
Looking forward to your helping us set a new attendance record.

that was a good question but the answers might as well be in chinese:eek:...I miss TOP already...so what they are saying is when the go to commercial,NYO will be announcing the game, but when the webcast comes back they will be behind NYO??? ugh..............pps how long are these GD commercials??????

15-20 seconds - and they're random, not during a stoppage either.

any idea on who/from where will be doing the reffing?? Is it from the home team league?? or does the NC$$ decide?? Looks like the dogs go to the box often,wonder if the refs will let more go??

The game just goes on during the commercials - whatever happened during the commercial is not seen. I think Adrian gets a price break on the streaming for allowing the commercials, because I've seen other schools use US Stream and not have any commercials.

However, since the NCAA is playing cop about commercials, there is a good chance they won't happen - the NCAA even made Norwich change their channel on NSN because the "splash page" (I'm not sure exactly what that is) had ads on it. According to the knowledgeable people on here, they want rights fee of $1000 for a commercial broadcast, so I would assume that any financial gain that Adrian gets for the commercials would be lost.

I would much rather miss 15-20 seconds of Visual footage while be able to hear NYO as opposed to watching the game with no commentators at all. But a non-commercial game would be awesome ;)

Nice picture of the inside of the CC Arena. Added touch if you go on the Oz Hockey Official Website you can take a virtual tour on standing @ center ice. Now if you go to the Norwich Hockey Official Website the picture of the inside of Kreitzberg Arena only shows two of the three men’s national banners and not the women’s lone banner. Would be nice if Norwich set up a virtual tour similar to Oswego. CrosbyNU63 needs to get after his two Oswego alum co-workers and make the changes. They might want to wait till next fall when an additional two are raised:D

I absolutely love the idea of the pictures of the All-Americans on the wall opposite the Lakers bench. That makes the arena pop more with the way you photoshopped that in. The banners of course we know how everyone up here feels about the lack of them. The 87 one was a nice touch.:D
