Mike...you better get a good hockey PBP job when you graduate. Outstanding work! I really enjoy listening to you on NYO broadcasts. Who shoots your video for you?

Thank you sir! Various guys on our staff have shot our video so far this year. This past weekend's video was done by our sports director, Scott Glickman on my dinky little digital still-shot camera. Came out surprisingly great.

Hopefully Moodie is alright, we could use him in this game against Hobart, as the SUNYAC is only 3-7 against the ECAC west

Last highlight package of the semester... again: we will have coverage of all the games over break, not sure about video highlights just yet.

well not sure about that trap thing or other teams using it, if it is not your teams style, its hard to pick it up for just 1 game , it takes a lot of discipline to play that system, they had 3 guys back all game and dont think oz had more than 2 odd-man rushes...some thing I like were Badham, hustle and hitting,Gertzakis very good with the puck will be a talent for sure,we finished just about every check, but cannot get out of position doing it,,,Hare played well when need very good positioning ,,didnt like the fact we had soooo many shots hit the glass get'em on net they go in that way..lol.....to many cute passes in the offensive zone......ok then well take a win for sure...I guess its Conn College next...would love to beat them then Play Neumann........

yes, Neumann is going to be a Very tough game... just wish I could be there to watch it. I hope it is televised on the web... I'd see if I could watch it on my phone.

At first I was pretty shocked to see Neumann put 10 up against Morrisville, but the Mustangs are such an up and down team. They can play an Oswego or a Castleton VERY tough, then get hammered in their very next game. A lot of SUNYAC teams are like that this year. I never thought Brockport would do what they've done so far this year. And Geneseo has been a disappointment. True, they've had injury problems, but still. Very up and down for a lot of teams.

Glad to get by Hobart. They are annoying like an itch that you can't get rid of. Unfortunately, that trap is going to be played by everyone and their mother until the Lakers can beat it. Get ready for a lot of boring hockey.

That's how Hobart's played all season, if other teams try it who don't normally play that way they're playing to lose, we probably won't see many other teams playing like that this season

You can make tweeks to your system, but to change your whole philosophy just for one game wont work.

I don't think we will see much of a 2-3 zone style defense from many other teams except for maybe Fredonia. What we will see is a lot of teams clogging up the neutral zone in some manner and try to capitalize on the Lakers terrible passing. What we wont see are teams trying to go end to end with them except for maybe Platty. Oswego really needs to start competing a bit more across the board for 60 minutes or they are going to have more of these close games against teams that shouldn't really be that close.

Played 23 games with the AHL San Antonio Rampage so far.

1 goal and 1 assist and 81 penalty minutes....still hasn't lost his enforcer/fighter role yet.
