Thanks for that! This whole thread was confusing. This is my first game out in Oswego and was hoping it wasnt going to be screwed!
First time out at the CC? I hope the students come out in force so you can see what a rocking place it can be.

My Sports Information Director*sent me your email and I will be glad to answer your question.* There are some nuances*to areas that are general admission.* The following information is also*referenced on our*website at:

http://athletics.oswego.edu/sports/...spx?tab=icehockeytickets#Single-Game_Tickets*
If a patron has a ticket for Sections 54-59, they may sit anywhere within Sections 54-59 (only)
If a patron has*a ticket for Section 51, they may sit anywhere within Section 51 (only)
If a patron has*a ticket for Section 53, they may sit anywhere within Section 53 (only)
In addition, patrons with a "Standing Room Only" ticket may stand anywhere on the upper concourse except for those areas reserved for patrons with disabilities (and their companions) and areas reserved for media personnel of various types.*

Yeah hope so also....even tho I am a huge "Card Fan" I always like what the student population does for the game. Plattsburgh has gotten better, but even teams as lowly as Potsdam have a better student turn out. It is always interesting and I am sure it will be Saturday.
We decided to stay at the Best Western "Captain Courters"....Good hotel or no?
GREAT place i have stayed there for the past 3 yrs when I come up for the platty/pots weekend...clean and a great pool that my 5yo loves, brkfast as well on the arm, I go to the Press Box across the street, wings craft beer etc... have one for meYeah hope so also....even tho I am a huge "Card Fan" I always like what the student population does for the game. I believe Steamers is in the hotel NEXT to the Best Western Cap QrtrsIt's an ok place. I've never stayed at the hotel, but Steamers is a decent place for dinner and a drink.

Thanks for this, Lou. I think the question norm and CardFan has is about section 52. That is not a GA section. They were worried about season ticket holders being able to boot them out of their seats, which isn't possible. If they bought the tickets, the seats are theirs. Although, I don't think section 52 is a season ticket holder section. I thought 60-64 were the season ticket sections.
That being the case, I am in section 54 adjacent to section 53
And it is for the most part consistent with what they said when I called.

Remy just admitted he loved Oswego. You heard it here first!![]()

When I called, the qoute was essentually 'season ticket holders can only boot people sitting in sections 52 (not behind the Oswego bench), 60, 61, 62, 63 and 64, all other sections will be first come first serve.' Cora H. Brumley e-mail seems to add sections 51 & 53, but perhaps those seats were sold assigned, but not to "season ticket holders". They did specify when I asked for clarification that section 52 WAS included as a Season Ticket holder section.
51 AND 53 are reserved seat sections, but are referred to as "Game Day" seating. I just wasn't aware Sec 52 was a season ticket section. As long as you have a ticket with a seat number on it, you should be ok.![]()
