Oswego Lakers 2023-24...Light The Lamp.....Lets go Lakers!!!!!!!!

wins a win..couple of PPg's at the end otherwise looked like a sloppy game, with a few good passing plays from Oz..........The will have their hands full with the 9-0 birds tonight.....Go Lakers!!!

They put up 6 and we might have a shot.

Leave it to the cardiac Lakers to follow up with their worst weekend with arguably their best weekend. 18 total penalties but maybe 4 of them were normally called these refs were Charmin ultra soft tonight. Got outshot to hell but that's what happens when the pp were 9-4 also we scored another pp goal! Also does anyone know the last time one team beat the #1 team in the nation twice?

Why would anyone be writing on this site at 3:00 in the morning, get a knee replacement and see if you can sleep.
the clarity was poor on the stream to our TV, so to be able to judge the officiating one has to see first. Unbelievable amount of penalties. Mr Lynch and his boys were sure busy tonight. It was a classic college hockey game. And in spite of the penalties Oswego beat a Plattsburgh team undefeated 9 and 0 in front of a great crowd at the Ronald Stanford arena. It was the first time in twenty years we missed this weekend. We hope Coach Gosek can find the answer as to why this team can be brilliant and then mediocre .

Good thing the clarity is much better when ur at the game in person.

Honestly. there were probably more penalties missed than called. Both teams were very fast and the stripes got a workout. Being there you could see a lot more. As far as I can see, goalkeeping meant the difference in this one.

well its a put up. or shut-up weekend for sure, but not make or break ;-)))))......Let's get in a good one tonight and go from there......GO Lakers!!!

Well I missed the game as my 93yo dad was in the hospital, looks like it was a knockdown drag'em out game...The Lakers put it up for sure this weekend,go figure get crushed by Elmira, lose to a subpar ST J's team then beat the #1 again??? Maybe it's just about the match-ups??..Looks like the zebras had a lot to say as well at the Ronnie B....2160 didnt know it held that much ,must have been packed to the rafters,...I think when we played them in 1987 in the National Championship they said the attendance was over 4K,but they had the bleaches back then I believe.??...Ok well another BIG test this weekend, with always dangerous Cortland coming in Fri night ,then The U on Saturday.......GO Lakers!!!!

Interesting result from USCHO today Oswego knocks off the number one team again and they move us from 23 to 32 on the poll. Hmmm, that is a little puzzling is it not

You are confused, they got 32 votes. That in all reality puts them as 16th because there is a tie for 14th with 35 votes each. In the Last poll they only had 23 votes.

I get it, Lakers lost a couple that really should not have happened, but we beat TWO Number 1 teams (and currently numbers 1 and 2!) and yet we are not ever in the top 15? That is criminal.

You've lost 4 games. It helps who you beat, but it helps not to lose too...

In other news, Oswego hoops are fire, undefeated, and #4 in the country.

⁩ checks in at #4 this week. Our highest national ranking in program history. Our focus needs to be on improvement at this point during the season, but still a recognition for our alums/fans to enjoy. Go Lakers

Yes the dragons have been pesky for sure and The U will be a good game..........let's take 2..........Go Lakers!!!

For sure. Cortland is ranked above us in Pairwise at this point, and Utica has tonight off and will be coming in fresh. Dig in Lakers!

WOW that was disappointing to be nice...I guess we are still recovering from the platty game we looked tired, uninspired etc etc...Dont remember seeing so many breakaways, our Dmen had better start playing the man NOT the puck they got roasted many times and our D zone coverage was terrible, we left the front the net open many times, basic d zone coverage??? Our lack of size also showed, got beat up in the corners as well...Play like that tomorrow and we get the same results probably worse....well at least they got to toss the teddies....I did like the Cortland penalty kill very aggressive and we did zero with our chances...Let's hope for a better effort at least tomorrow, maybe a line-up shuffle is needed???? ...Lets Go Lakers !!!!
