Here is a link to a story about the Laker newcomers for this season.

The BCHL site has Berra listed as a Manhattanville commit so I believe that's where he is listed on the DIII commit page, though I also believe the East is lagging a ways behind in terms of updates.

Re: Oswego 2011 Playoff and Offseason Thread: Hips and Nips or We Don't Win!

also from that article...

Due to time constraints, Oswego State will not play an exhibition game this season. The Lakers open their regular season Oct. 21 at Elmira.

so that answers that.

that really doesnt make sense, they have played them, exhibition games, in the past a few days after pink fluffy bunny practice, and other teams like Platty are playing on the 15th I believe.........ow well maybe another way to start the season will help.......ps I hope the games on the net are as good as they were last yr, Oz had the BEST coverage hands down:D

But if you can't find a halfway decent opponent to play you'd be better off playing an intrasquad scrimmage.

An American team (other than the USNDT teams) would count against the 25 game limit, so they wouldn't gain much by finding an American team.

MountieBoy has joined the Clarkson roundtable. If any transfers migrate from the banks of the mighty Raquette River to the shore of Lake Ontario, we know who to blame.
