Open Wheel Racing 2021, anyone there to watch?

Isn't his wife a professional cyclist or something?

I always liked that she's homely; a refreshing difference from the ordinary brainless boobs on a stick.

His current partner is a pro cyclist from Australia.

I thought they had married so the confusion was my fault.

His ex-wife Emilia Pikkarainen is in no way homely. She's prettier than any of the zombie cum flunkies on the tour.

Although I must have seen Tiffany Cromwell on a bad day. She fits the F1 model perfectly.

She’s a swimmer, and evidently they divorced in 2019.

I'm looking forward visiting Finland soon.

As for the American drivers, the one name that everyone has talked about is still on the team that F1 totally turned away from the grid. He's never going to see the grid, as far as I can see, as he will never win a championship, thus getting a superlicence. Maybe Russell can chime on on F2, F3 and the other Jr series for American drivers.
If Jak Crawford finishes 5th or higher in this year's F2 championship (which is essentially a shoo-in barring a complete collapse), he gets a Super License.

Favorite story about Finland: I have an ex-GF who went there as a HS exchange student. She is brilliant and, likely not unrelatedly, "not traditionally beautiful." Short, squat, swarthy, south of plain. Not a horror, but sub-average, let's say, a 4. * You will never see her in front of a camera.

So she goes to Finland for a semester, land of gods and goddesses, and... SHE'S A HIT! Complete dance card, boys and girls (and this is around 1987 so that's still kinda unusual). Everybody wanted some.

Evidently, you just need to cut through the clutter.

* I looked for a double on the internet and well you will never guess what. You can't find any 4's on the internet. 25% of the images are magazine models you will never see IRL. 74% of the images are Hollywood-curated manic pixie cuties you will see IRL vanishingly rarely and if you do marry one; I did. 1% are medical experiment grotesques. And that's it. That's the palette.

I really hope that doesn't end up deciding the championship but it probably will.
If it were next season, one could expect that failures among the two cars would even out. But not at the very end of an engine rule set. That failure should not have happened, and probably is unlikely for Oscar.

It would suck if it came down that difference, but so far, Oscar has shown he's earning this more than Lando over the whole season. Long way to go....

On the F1 TV post race show, they said McLaren hasn't had a mechanical DNF (maybe just engine related) in three years.

This will be difficult for Lando to overcome. Especially since he has had so much difficulty overcoming Oscar on merit...

If Lando wins the next five races with Oscar in second for each, Lando leads by a point. But who really sees that happening?
