Woops, a week I'm a week ahead....I am just CRAVING some racing action! I'm so desperate I've been watching old CART races on Youtube.

That's cool. I thought I was a week behind!

I've got it as Australian GP on the 18th for F1. Then Streets of St. Petersburg on the 25th for Indycar (& Malaysian GP for F1)!!

Then again maybe not. Simona's best time was 1.1 seconds off of Helio's best time.

Testing....Dixon broke into the 51 range, beating Helio's fast time. Rubens was just a tick slower then the Penske Trio. I think Power had a 51 sec lap working when he had another engine fire Tuesday.

People are going to pizz and moan like mad when, after all the changes, it's still Penske vs Ganassi. I would expect nothing less.

If you haven't already, go to SPEED and check out the Delta Wing pictures. I personally love out of the box thinking. It harkens my memory back to the 6 wheeled Tyrrell.

Speaking of the 6 wheel tyrrell, I was at watkins glen when it ran with Depaillier and Hunt I believe. great time and a very interesting car.

The one thing now days you have to have at a race is ear plugs.

interesting car but I'm glad Indycar didn't run w/that. I'm not happy w/the endplates on the new care but this delta wing is completely closed wheel and would have changed Indycar forever (going away from open wheel)

though I suppose for the younger generation it would be cool to see 33 bat-mobiles vying for the Borg Warner Trophy

So, since real F1 practice starts tomorrow for Austraila, I supposed we should start a new thread?

I started last year's- someone can come up with a clever title this year.
